The girls decided to stay over last night and have a sleep over after they discovered the message that A had left for them. Spencer didn't feel comfortable staying in her house alone now whilst her parents and Melissa were still in New York.
They were currently in the kitchen and discussing the problems that A has caused for them. "This is the letter that A sent to my mom." Aria told the girls sadly whilst she stared at the letter meaninglessly, hoping that somehow if she kept reading it then the words would change.
"You know it's not your fault right? The mistake is totally your dad's." Taylor tries to explain to the tiny girl.
"No, it is my fault." She insists.
"You did not hook up with her and then ask your kid to cover for you." Spencer told Aria trying to get her to understand that she isn't in the wrong.
"Ali said I should've told my mom the second it happened." Aria stated, which confused Taylor.
"Ali? Alison knew?" Taylor questions.
Aria nods her head, "Yeah she was with me."
"So Alison saw this Meredith person?" Spencer asks as she hands around cups of coffee that she's made.
"Meredith? Her name's Meredith?" Hanna starts to say and Taylor begins shaking her head no, knowing that whatever Hanna was going to say will be a little insensitive. Oh wait, it's Hana, it will be massively insensitive. "That's not even a cute girl name. I'm seeing big pores and mousy roots." She continues after ignoring her sisters warning.
Spencer tries to get Hanna to understand that she needs to stop talking without thinking. "Hanna, I think it's a little too soon to joke."
"I'm sorry." Hanna apologises. "But if you're going to cheat, you might as well do it with somebody who deep conditions her hair occasionally."
"Here, put this in your mouth besides your foot." Taylor tells Hanna whilst she passes her sister a bagel.
"I'm sorry, okay?" Hanna once again apologises. "Look all I'm saying is that when our dad left, laughing sometimes helped. So did crying."
As soon as Aria heard Hanna mention how her dad left, the girls head shot up. "My father hasn't left guys. I mean this happened over a year ago." Aria tries to reason, however, neither Taylor or the other girls dared to look at the tin y brunette. "You think he's going to leave?"
"Look, whatever happens we're here for you." Emily reassures after seeing the scared look on Aria's face at the thought of her father leaving.
There was an awkward silence for a few seconds until Spencer was the one to finally break it. "Thank you guys for staying here. I couldn't have been here alone."
"When's your family getting back?" Taylor asks.
"This afternoon."
"Weren't you going to clean off the mirror before they get here?" Aria questions, knowing that they can't let anyone know about A.
After showing a little hesitance to answer, Emily asks Spencer if she wants her to come upstairs with her, which Spencer gratefully accepts. Taylor and Aria also agree to help as well.
"Yeah, you know what? It doesn't take five of us to clean a mirror." Hanna says, trying to get out of it. "So why don't you four go and I'll just stay here." She suggests.
Taylor sees that her friends were about to start complaining but she has another idea on how to get Hanna to help. Pushing the girls forward towards the stairs, Taylor slowly follows them whilst turning around to face Hanna, "Fine. You stay down here. Alone. But make sure you lock the door."
