Unexpected Lovers (an android 17 love story)

Gohan is born

Vee's P.O.V. 

I look around at the Capsule Corp's designated waiting room. Since we have so many 'aliens' that getting hurt or giving birth in the group Bulma decided to make part of Capsule Corp a mini-hospital for when we don't have any senzu beans.  I then glance over to Kota to see him sleeping on one of the couch sofas, which Bulma opted for instead of hair hospital chairs. Both him and myself have been cooped in here for what seems like forever, waiting for Dad to come announce the birth of our new sibling. The others would stop by later, as Mom wanted just the close family to meet them at first, surprisingly that included me. Here lately Mom and Dad have been ignoring me more than usual, but I don't mind I understand that with the pregnancy and the new baby things will be tougher here lately. Besides Vegeta still pays attention to me even if he is difficult and tough he still has a soft side that comes out every so often. Surprisingly Kota hasn't been too affected by the lack of attention here lately, probably because he's so ready to be an older sibling, finally. As for me already being older, I couldn't care less. As far as I was concerned, that would just make us free babysitters in the future. The only good thing is they won't get the attention during training for a while, at least until they're older. After a few more minutes of waiting the door finally opens and I see Dad peak his head out. "Ya'll can come meet your new baby brother." 

He then pops his head back into the room and the door swings shut. Another brother? Well good for them, most of the group; including Mom and Dad; prefer boys over girls. I slowly get up from where I was sitting and stretch. Sitting in one spot for hours can really make you stiff. I then head across the room to where Kota is and nudge him. He doesn't even move, I nudge him again. Still nothing. Finally I get aggravated and push him off the sofa, and to the floor. He freaks out a second as he realizes what happened, "What was that for!" he yells looking up from the floor and rubbing his head.

"One I nudged you twice and you did nothing so I resulted to other methods. Two it's time to meet the baby," I say still annoyed and offering my hand to him. He thinks for a moment before finally giving in and grabbing my hand as I pull him up. We then both head to the doorway to the birthing room. We open the door and walk in to see mom holding a little baby, wrapped in a blanket, in her arms.

"Kota come meet your baby brother Gohan," Mom says and then notices I stay still while Kota walks over. "You too Vee." I then walk over yet staying a little bit away. Both Mom and Dad notice as they give me a questioning look.

"I'm going to let Kota have his moment first," I say answering their quite question. They both nod as Kota is having his little moment. After A few minutes I walk over to have my time so nobody would really question anything. 

After we have our family time Dad asks, "So how do ya'll like being older siblings so far?"

Kota doesn't waste a second before answering with a huge smile across his face, "I love it."

I pause trying to think of how to answers not wanting to tell the truth. "Well... I was already an older sibling so it's really no difference to me."

"There's a difference between 6 years older and 5 minuted older Vee," Kota says while rolling his eyes, obviously irritated. 

"No there isn't Kota, you're just jealous I'm older," I retort and then stick my tongue out teasingly. 

Kota was about to reply with something when Mom cut in, "That's enough!" 

"Sorry Mom."
