Introducing Rosiland

Rosiland lived in her home Realm of Forestaria for most of her life, up until a few years ago when her mom-who is or rather was a Forestarian diplomat-had to travel to the realm Everlast to meet with the King of Everlast and his advisers to discuss trades between the two realms. Usually the King and Queen of Forestaria would attend these types of meetings with the dignitaries of the five other realms, but unfortunately they were both indisposed at that moment due to a terrible case of the flu.

Rosiland's mother had to stay in Everlast for at least two weeks in order to discuss all things that needed to be discussed related to the trading between the two realms. During those few weeks Rosiland's mother and the King of Everlast met often-even during times outside of scheduled meetings-The King even introduced Rosiland's mother to his children Kate and Cane. The King and Rosiland's mother continued to meet with one another long after the meetings about the trade between their two lands had concluded and a few years after the two had first met they decided to get married. Rosiland's mother became the new Queen of Everlast, Kate's and Cane's step-mom, the King of Everlast then became Rosiland's step-dad, and Roiland is now a princess of Everlast.

Usually when one becomes a citizen of a realm that they were not born in, not much happens other than a ceremony. They almost always keep the powers of their birth realm; it is in fact very rare for one's realm power to change to match their new realm. Rosiland's mom is in the majority on that fact however Rosiland on the other hand is a different story.

About a week after Rosiland and her mom moved to the capital of Everlast and became citizens of Everlast thus becoming the realms new Queen and Princess. Rosiland began to experience some changes. It started out one sunny morning; as Rosiland was getting ready for the day when she had looked in the mirror and realized that her right eye had changed color from a dark green to a bright reddish orange. Later that evening she began to show signs that she was gaining the realm power Everlast, even though she wasn't losing the realm power of Forestaria. Rosiland's mom and step-dad took Rosiland to meet with a wise old sage who lived in the realm. The sage informed them though it is extremely rare it is possible for one to keep the realm power that they were born with and gain the power of a second realm; it must be a sign that Rosiland will do great things.

Rosiland is and always has been a bit of a wild child since the day she was born; which is probably why she has always been so disorganized and has loved pranking others so much. Though her mom says she got it from her father who was a bit of a jokester and could never seem to organize anything. Rosiland is 16 and seems to take after her father in many ways.

Rosiland's hobbies include going on adventures, pranking others; especially her step-sister, making others laugh-which is a small part of the reason as to why she likes to prank others so much, and causing chaos in general. Rest assured if you ever come across a funny scene of chaos and mischief; it was most likely caused by Rosiland.

Along with her two realm powers Rosiland also has the ability to change form or shapeshift. Though controlling her magic has never been her strong suit except when it comes to her shapeshifting magic, but that is mostly due to her love of pranks and love of chaos. Though ever since talking to that old sage a couple of years ago her mom and step-dad have been on her case about her needing to focus on learning to control all of her magic, not just her shapeshifting.

Rosiland and her step-brother Cane almost immediately hit it off; they often hang out and Cane regularly tries to help Rosiland practice her fire magic. However Rosiland's relationship with her step-sister Kate is not a very good one. To simply say that the two do not get along is putting it mildly; the two have never truly gotten along save for when they have to be seen together at a public event such as one of the many charity galas that the Everlastan Royalty tend to host. They are like oil and water; they do not mix unless forced to mix.

Rosiland often pranks and tries to mess with Kate; which is probably why they do not get along. However Rosiland just can not help herself; to Rosiland Kate just seems so uptight and self righteous, so she is only trying to help Kate loosen up a bit.

One day Rosiland decided to sneak out of her magic lessons to set up a prank that she wants to play on her step-sister. She went down to a lake near the castle with a brand new wooden bucket in hand. Upon reaching the lake she put the bucket under the surface of the lake thus filling the bucket with icy cold water. Rosiland then made her way back to the castle with a now full bucket and upon arriving she placed the bucket high up in an area where Kate would soon be walking by. Rosiland did not have to wait long for Kate to be walking by and when Kate was under the bucket Rosiland tipped the bucket over dowsing Kate head to toe in icy cold water. Rosiland laughed and laughed at the shocked and angry expression on Kate's face while Kate glared daggers at her step-sister. Instead of biting Rosiland's head off and chewing her out Kate decided to just leave Rosiland's laughing form and continue on to the place she was already heading to.

Rosiland stayed for a bit to help clean up the mess she made before being sent to her room by her mother since she ditched her studies just to play a cruel prank on her step-sister. Upon entering her room Rosiland noticed that there was a strange letter sitting on her bed. Not thinking much about it she picked up the letter to open and then read its contents.

Dear Princess Rosiland of Everlast

You have been called to be a part of a team that very well may one day help to bring a change to the Realms and to the lives of those who live in it. I can not tell you who I am, nor can I tell you of the mission this team will be tasked with completing. But what I can tell you is that you are chosen by the fates to be on this team, and the fate of all the Realms could very well depend on this team. I understand that you might not wish to come but if you do in this letter there is a map that leads to a door. Please go to this door in three days' time; there will be someone waiting for you. Also in this letter there is another letter one that you may give to your family to explain why you would be away. It is a letter of acceptance to a prestigious magic school that few are ever accepted into.

Rosiland began to get very excited upon reading this letter, she wanted to immediately run to her parents and tell them about the letter. However she was still in trouble and knew that it would probably take some convincing on her part to convince her parents to let her leave and go to this 'school'. Eventually Rosiland was able to speak with her mom and step-dad and it did take a lot of convincing to get them to just agree to think about it.

After a while without any answer from her parents Rosiland decided to go to bed hoping that they would have an answer for her then. The next morning after waking up she was told that her parents requested to speak with her after breakfast. Her mom and step-dad told her that after thinking it over for a while they decided that it would maybe do her some good if she started going to this prestigious school and since Kate had also gotten an invitation to this school maybe it would be a good opportunity for the two to bond. However there were a few conditions that her mom and step-dad had for Rosiland to start going to this school. First off dial it down on the pranks and mischief, secondly try to get along with Kate, maybe start by apologizing to Kate, and lastly they want Rosiland to write to them once every other week about her progress and how things are going.

Rosiland was so excited about the new adventure she was about to start she immediately agreed to her parents' terms and then ran to her room to start packing.
