Introducing Angela

A/N The above image is the drawing that I created of what Angel looks like. Also her it doesn't really show up very well but her eyes are light green not gray.

Angela never knew her parents, she was told that she was found abandoned on someone's doorstep as a baby. The person who found her called authorities about the abandoned baby, and when a search for her parents failed they took her to the local orphanage. Angela lived at the orphanage for quite a few years. It wasn't until she was around the age of five when she was adopted. She was adopted by a noble family who were initially thinking of adopting a boy, however from the moment they saw Angela they knew that they would be adopting a little girl instead. Her adoptive parents also had an adult son who no longer lived at home, but visited frequently. Angela got along very well with her new family and was fast friends with her older brother.

Angela is very book smart as some would say. She loves studying, reading and learning all kinds of new things. She is an excellent student; often surpassing the other students in their studies. She is also currently working to become a scholar in her home Realm Skyla; she primarily studies the history of the Realms and magic.

Angela is very good at using her magic, Her brother training to become a member of Skyla's royal guard. He will often teach Angela different fighting and magic techniques since he knows that she loves learning, and he also wants her to be able to defend herself in case anything bad ever happens to her. She also teaches herself other magic techniques that she learns in her studies. She will also teach what she learns to her brother.

Angela was on her way home from her brother's apartment, when she remembered that she needed to stop by the book store. Luckily she could see that there was one right around the corner. Angela doesn't remember seeing this particular book store ever before, but she equates that to not always walking home after her and her brothers training session. She was able to find the book that she needed pretty quickly. When she was about to head tho the check out area when another book caught her eye; the book almost looked like it was glowing. She picks up the glowing book to see what book it is. The book didn't have a title on the cover so she opened the book to try to find the name of the book. When she opened up the book a letter addressed to her fell out. After contemplating for a moment on whether or not to open the strange letter she eventually decided to open the letter and read it.

Dear Angela of Skyla

You have been called to be a part of a team that very well may one day help to bring a change to the Realms and to the lives of those who live in it. I can not tell you who I am, nor can I tell you of the mission this team will be tasked with completing. But what I can tell you is that you are chosen by the fates to be on this team, and the fate of all the Realms could very well depend on this team. I understand that you might not wish to come but if you do in this letter there is a map that leads to a door. Please go to this door in three days' time; there will be someone waiting for you. Also in this letter there is another letter one that you may give to your family to explain why you would be away. It is a letter of acceptance to a prestigious magic school that few are ever accepted into. Also I recommend keeping this book of legends, as I feel greatly that it will help you in the days to come should you decide to accept my offer.

Angela knew immediately what she needed to do, so quickly checked out and started to head home excited to tell her parents about the acceptance letter that she just received. Her parents were overjoyed for their daughter and very encouraging of her to go to this school to further her studies. Her parents and brother threw a small going away party for Angela a few days before she left.
