ANDREW'S POV

"So Angel tried to kill us, Alexandra had her baby and I almost ate a cat?" I asked curiously.

"Don't forget Angel accused me of killing her sister. " Jade replied.

It was the morning after and Jade was getting ready for work. I was back in my normal form at the kitchen table as Jade looked for something to hold her lunch. I had so many questions about the night before, but one stood out from them all.

"Are you sure it was a cat? Because I'm actually more of a dog person." I said just as our mother came in.

"From what Jade has told me it was a stray feline Andrew." She said pulling out a medium sized thermos.

"I guess it's better than being accused for murder." Jade mumbled pouring the red liquid into the container and sealing it shut.

"Murder? Jade?" My mom asked surprised.

"Yeah Andrew's crazy girlfriend. Listen I gotta run before I'm late." She said kissing mom on the cheek and leaving.

She then turned to face me and raised an eyebrow arms crossed. I explained what Jade told me as she slumped into a barstool next to mine.

"I knew this would come up again someday" She sighed.

"Did you honestly think you could hide this forever from Jade?" I asked.

"Yes Andrew I did. I'm your mother and a mother's job is to protect her children."

"We'll what if she doesn't need protecting huh? What are you going to tell her now?"

She sat there and shrugged in defeat. Neither of us knew what to say.

Later that night when jade got home from work my mom called us into the living room for a family meeting.

"We never have family meetings." Jade said confused.

She was right, but I didn't want to say anything that could get her more upset than what's about to happen. Once we were all seated my mom cleared her throat and looked directly at Jade.

"Andrew told me about Angel." She started and put a hand up to stop jade from interrupting. "And I know you think you didn't kill her sister..."

"Think? I know I didn't! I've never met Angel or any sister of hers before Andrew started dating her." Jade exclaimed.

"Well you did. You three were quite the trio when you were kids." She replied.

"...what do you mean, I killed her sister or I've met her before." Jade asked stunned.

"Both. You three used to be quite the trio. And deep down inside you know you've met them before. And you know what happened that night you three were playing." She said.

Jade sat there gears turning in her head as she started to put the pieces together. Her eyes started to water and my mom reached out to hold her hand, but Jade flinched away.

"So all those dreams weren't dreams. They were memories?" She sobbed standing up.

My mom was speechless. She merely nodded not meeting her eyes. Jade looked over at me accusingly. I didn't have to say anything I'm assuming my face gave it all away.

"Et tu Andrew?" She said before storming off.

The front door slammed causing us to jump. We sat there in the silence neither of us getting up to go find Jade or doing anything. After a while there was a knock at the door and my mom made the first move. She got up to answer the door and came back with a thick manilla envelope. When she opened it up and slid the papers out she laughed.
