016: GIRLS WILL DO IT UNTIL THEY DIE

༊*·

"Oh, yeah, she'll be fine with us sitting in her kitchen, probably disrupting her life."

A man's voice chuckled. "Ben's already said that, Allison, you're not special."

Aimee stood in the hall, poking her head out to watch the two strangers in her kitchen. Her Mother was in the bathroom, getting ready. She usually took a while to get ready because her skin hurt so much in the mornings.

"What happened?" The girl on the ground asked.

"Oh, we're not getting into that." He sipped from a flask in his hand. "You'll all just say you told me so."

"I probably did tell you so." The girl laughed. "She's gonna hate us so much."

Her face suddenly fell, as she looked around the house.

"Oh, shit."

"What?" He took another sip of his flask.

"She has a kid now."

"Ugh." The guy sighed, and sunk even closer to the floor. "So?"

"So, she wouldn't be with the nanny if Harper can look after her."

He sat up, suddenly. "Where'd my shirt go?"

"Aimee?"

Aimee looked behind her to see Harper looking into her bedroom, looking confused when she didn't see her.

"Aimee?"

"I'm here." Aimee walked back down the hallway towards her.

"Oh. Hi, sweet pea." She crouched down to her height. "So, you know how I went to see my friends the other day?"

"They're in the kitchen."

"Yeah - what? They?" Harper stood up suddenly, and walked into the kitchen. "Klaus, you shit-bag."

"I didn't do anything! Allison came to see you!" He said, as he pulled his shirt on over his head.

Allison looked around. "Oh, good, she isn't here."

"I've been watching from the hallway." Aimee said, standing behind Harper. "She said you're going to hate her."

"Oh, my God, is that Aimee?" Allison asked.

"Why would I hate you?" Harper narrowed her eyes, and then sniffed, and saw her blender on the table. "Are you two day-drinking in my house?"

They looked at each other, and then back at her.

"You're ridicolous."

"I thought she wasn't home." Allison tried.

"This isn't even entirely about her, Allison, you shouldn't be drinking with Klaus in the mornings!"

"Yeah, Allison, you're the problem." Klaus walked around the kitchen bench to stand beside Harper. "I'm with - Harper's with me."

"Klaus, you are far from innocent." Harper said.

"Atta girl." Ben's voice said from the living room, where the TV was on.

He groaned. "What'd I do? It's not my fault that the cultists found me, and I fell off the wagon and then you were in the diner-"

"Oh, my god, Ben, love!" Harper looked at the living room. "Hello, wherever you are."

"Hey, Harps."
