"You know your boobs are going to get so big." Tasha said as soon as she entered the room with Milla.

"Good morning to you too, Tasha. I'm doing well and how are you?" I wiggled around in bed so I could sit up properly. Since my center of gravity was in my stomach now it was kind of hard to move around like I used to.

"Oh right, good morning," she added, "But my intrusive thoughts have a point, you know. You'll have one hell of a boob job."

"It's not even nine and you're talking about boob jobs." Milla shook her head then looked at me. "How are you feeling? Are you comfortable?"

"My back hurts a little but I'm okay." Now that Tasha had mentioned it, my boobs did go up a size but all it did was make my back ache. They were very sore if anything.

Both of them had attended daily training while I slept in. I needed at least nine hours of sleep to function but only because I woke up once or twice in the middle of the night.

"Can we get you anything?"

"No, I'm okay. Thank you, Milla." I was trying not to take too much pain medication because I wanted to be able to tell if there was something wrong. "Don't get me wrong because I'm so, so happy you guys decided to come and visit but aren't you missing too much school, Milla? And Tasha, don't you have your internship in New York?"

"I did all my homework on the plane and I can get always get the notes from my friends." Milla said.

"Yeah, my manager actually approved a few days off for me so we're good." Tasha shrugged. I couldn't but still feel guilty they were missing things for me.

"I just feel like I'm forcing you to be here. I know you're both busy now—"

"Stop right there. You aren't forcing us to do anything. We're here because we're your best friends and we promised to always be there for you. Besides, I'd much rather be here than at work anyways." Tasha interrupted shamelessly.

"That pretty much sums it up." Milla nodded.

Tears of joy welled up in my eyes. "Thank you. It means the world to me that you're here." I had the best friends anyone could ever ask for. They were always there for me through thick and thin. "Actually. . . I do have something I want to ask you both."

"Ask away." Milla said.

"Well, when this baby is born. . . it will need a couple of extra hands, hands that we can trust. . . so Ares and I were wondering if the both of you would like to be the baby's godmothers?"

Tasha squealed. "Ohmygod, of course! I can't believe this is happening. We're going to be aunts!" She hugged me and then Milla and then all three of us ended up in a warm embrace.

"Do you know if it's a boy or girl?" Milla asked.

"Not yet. I kind of want it to be a surprise. Ares wants to know, of course, I think he wants to start planning." I patted my stomach lovingly.

When I told my friends the news over the phone they didn't know how to react at first. The line went silent for about ten seconds until Tasha said, "Well I shouldn't be surprised, werewolves are insanely fertile." Then Milla chimed in, "As soon as it's Friday I'm taking the next plane up and coming to see you."

They hadn't judged me, they hadn't blamed me. All they did was show up which I appreciated. Surprisingly enough it was the same reaction as my parents'.

Just then, Soren walked in for my daily check-up. He usually just checked my pulse, temperature and pain levels as well as the baby's heartbeat, nothing too fancy.
