Max Imagine~ Bad Period

I have spent most of my afternoon lying in bed with the most painful cramps you could ever imagine. The pain that started minimal this morning has only grown worse over time. I heard footsteps walking up to my door before I could acknowledge it, there was a knock on it.

I wondered momentarily if I wanted anyone to see me like this before making a groaning noise, giving whoever was knocking a chance to come in.

The door cracked open, revealing my tall dark-haired boyfriend, Max. "Hey baby, are you alright? You have been up here for quite a while," He rested himself upon the door frame.

I rolled over onto my side and groaned again, "My stomach is hurting."

I watched as his eyes turned saddened and his lips began to form a frown at my words. I placed my hands over my stomach, rubbing it to try and get the cramps to go away. Max began to move closer towards me.

He sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing my hips and waist while starting to ask me a question, "What's hurting you? Like, is it stomachache? Cramps?"

I took a few deep breaths as I try to sooth myself before speaking again. "Cramps, bad cramps" was all I managed to get out before the pain set in again.

His frown grow more worried. He rubbed my arm that was shielding over my stomach as I struggled with a cramp, "Oh darlin... Is it that bad? is there anything I can do?"

I winced in pain before I could get any more words out. Max quickly realized how bad it actually was, "Come here baby...," Max lifted my shirt, placing his hands gently on my stomach, massaging in circles. 'Oh honey, those have to be painful. How long has it been going on now?"

I thought for a moment as I tried to get past the brain fog from the pain. "I don't know, a few hours maybe. but it wasn't hurting this bad at first."

Max farrowed his eyebrows at me, "Why didn't you tell me sooner? You didn't need to tough it out yourself baby," Max continued to rub circles on my stomach to try and sooth the cramps.

"The have never been this bad before. I just thought they would go away but its only gotten worse"

"Have you taken any pills for it? Anything to get rid of the pain?" Max asked getting concerned.

I slightly shook my head, knowing I left the bottle of painkillers on the kitchen counter downstairs. "No... I left the bottle on the counter downstairs."

He looked at me in disbelief, "You came up here, in pain, but left your painkillers on the counter?"

I rolled onto my back trying to get as comfortable as possible before answering his question that had begun to give me a headache. "Will you please go down and grab the bottle for me?"

He laughed softly, "Of course baby. I'll be right back." Max strolled out of our room to go grab the bottle for me.

I decided to roll around in bed to see if I could get the pain to go away naturally. Relieving myself few only a few short minutes before tears started forming in my eyes from the pain starting once again.

Max returned with the bottle of painkillers in one hand and a glass of water in the other. "Here you go baby, these should help. But if not, we may want to think about going and getting you checked. I am really not liking the way these cramps are sounding."

I slowly nod my head, knowing Max was probably right. I grabbed the glass of water out of his hand and took a sip of it and he grabbed 2 red pills out of the bottle. I grabbed the pills off of Max and popped them into my mouth. I followed by taking another sip of water and setting the cup back down onto my end stand.

I squirmed my was back under the covers to get comfy as I wait for the pills to kick in. Max watched at I got comfy in bed, knowing they weren't going to give my immediate relief.

"How are you feeling now baby? He asked rubbing my leg. "I know it wont fix everything straight away. but hopefully it does something.'

"Not yet. But will you lay down with me for a bit? Just till I feel better."

He smiled gently at my request, absolutely adoring how I want him to comfort me, "Of course I will baby."

He lies down next to me, pulling me gently into his arms, cuddling me close to give me some comfort. The cuddles started to make me feel better. I felt myself starting to doze off.

"Its okay babe, close your eyes and try to get some sleep. ill be right here when you wake up," He whispered in my ear as he nuzzled into my neck.

I started to drift off as the pain was finally going away. Max rubbing his hand on my stomach trying to relax me more. "There you go baby. I can tell your starting to feel better. I'm not leaving though till you are absolutely sure your better..."

The last thing I had heard before falling asleep was "I won't leave you baby."
