Max: I know hun, I wish you weren't sick. I'll miss you tonight at the concert.
... : I'll miss you too. I feel bad that I can't come tomorrow. I haven't seen you in forever.
Max: I know baby, I love you
... : I love you more. I got to go my mom needs me.
Little did he know I was on my way to the concert
Max's POV
I feel so bad that we and going to Amsterdam tomorrow and Merlijn cant even come because she's sick.
" Hey dude what's wrong?" Harvey asked as I was looking sad about Merlijn and snapping me out of it.
"sorry... I'm just not feeling it today. merlijn can't come tomorrow."
"Dang, I'm sorry, but come on dude we got a show to do. maybe that will cheer you up." Harvey said trying to cheer me up.
" Yeah ok... I'm coming"
Merlijn's POV
I have been on this train now for what feels like forever but it's only been about an hour. This is the most excited I have been about anything in months. Ok let me explain, So Max and I have been together for about a year now but it has been a long distance relationship so we don't get a lot of time together. As of now we haven't seen each other in 3 months since they went on tour in April. Tomorrow they are coming to Amsterdam and I'm going to their show. But no one knows that I'm going, well besides my mom my mom of course and Sara. I am also going to finish the tour with them too. its only 4 more shows but it would be about 2 weeks long.
I finally get to my hotel room at around 10 at night. So with being so late I decided to take a bath and get ready for bed but not before texting Max goodnight.
Merlijn: Hey Babe, I think I'm going to go to bed. I'm really tired from this headache that I've had all day. I love you
Max: I love you too baby goodnight Sleep well hun xx
Merlijn: Goodnight
The Next Day
I woke up to a good morning text message from Max . I can tell that he is really feeling aweful that he can't see me today, well as far as he knows.
Well I guess its time to start my day. The concert starts at around 5pm and its already 12pm... don't judge me I like my sleep. So I finally get out of bed and get dressed in a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a cute top with a pair of converses.

I decided to walk to lunch before the concert. so I walked into this little diner on a side street that looked very pleasant. After ordering my food I decided to text Max.
Merijn: Hey sweetie, good morning. what are you doing?
Max: We are finishing up setting up the stage for tonight . About to start sound check. what about you?
Merijn: Oh that's cool. Just eating lunch. What time does the show start?
Max: 5 but people are already lining up outside
Merlijn: Ok well text me before you go on stage
Max: I will babe, I love you xx
"I love you too." I finished my meal and starting heading for the venue. I finally made it to the venue ! hour before the show had started so I texted Sara.
Merlijn: Hey I'm outside, where do I go?
Sara: Come to the back of the building, I have to sneak you past the boys
I walk to the back and see Sara standing by the door, I walk over to her and give her a massive hug and walk into the venue. She snuck me in and past Max and Harvey and into the front of the crowd. Now time for the show to start.
*30 Minutes Later*
The show is finally starting and the boys come running out on to the stage Singing 'There's nothing holding me back' by Shawn Mendes. Harvey looked in my direction and a swear he spotted me but didn't say anything to Max. At the end of the song Harvey gestured Max but Max ignored it. They started their second song 'Trade Hearts' and Harvey switched spots with Max so that Max was now in front of me. Mid song Max looked down at the audience and him eyes locked with mine. he then got the biggest smile across his face and started to jump up and down like a 5 year old in a candy store. He jumped off the stage and ran and picked me up and gave me a massive hug and a kiss. He put me down and gestured me to the side of the stage where Sara was to follow her back stage, he jumped back on the stage to continue their show.
Max's POV
" Merlijn what are you doing here?"
"I came to surprise you," Merlijn said as I wanted the start crying. " And I got some other news, I'm spending the rest of the tour with you!"
I picked her up and spun her around from excitement. I was going to spend the next 2 weeks with my favorite person in the whole wide world. ____________________________________
