Amelia's POV
Max and Harvey are my best friends that I have lived across from for as long as I can remember. Our parents are best friends so it was inevitable for us to be friends.
Harvey had just texted me asking me to go to the park with him and Max. I have had the biggest crush on Harvey since I was 12 years old, so of course, I wanted to go. I got out of bed and went to my closet and picked out a cute teal shirt and a pair of black and white shorts.

I threw my hair up in a messy bun and took this picture.
As I'm taking this picture I heard a knock at my door.
"Come in."
"Hey loser, are you ready to head to the park yet?" Max asked.
"What do you just let yourself into my house now?"
"Well duh, isn't that what best friends are supposed to do?" Harvey said making me chuckle
"Yeah sure," I said walking over to my shoes to put them on. I look over at my bed to see the two idiots spread out onto my bed.
"What's this? Do you guys think that you guys live here or something?"
"But your bed is so comfy!" Harvey said sitting up pouting.
Only boyfriends can lay in my bed like that."
"Um... we are boys duh, and we are your best friends so we count.' Max said before roasting the absolute shit out of me. "Ha, when are you going to get a boyfriend anyway?"
"Haha funny Max, are you lazy boys ready yet?"
They nodded their heads and get up. We head downstairs and grab a snack to take with us.
"Yo let's make waffles!" Harvey said looking in our cabinets.
"Dude, No! We are going to the park, we don't have time to make waffles," Max said grabbing an apple and heading for the door.
"So? I still want waffles." Harvey said sarcastically back to max.
I walk over to Harvey and grab his hand and handed him an apple.
"Let's go waffle freak, we will make waffles when we get home."
We walked over to the door while still holding Harvey's hand and not realizing. Max then looked down at our hands and gave us a confused look. I then realized why, I quickly let go of Harvey's hand after realizing and sped up to Max with my face beating red. Harvey is now walking behind us looking at his phone.
"You still like him don't you?" Max said whispering as I nodded my head. Well honestly, I think he likes you too."
"Huh!?"
"Shhh... I heard him yesterday talking to himself about how he was wanting to ask you out," Max said and my eye widened.
We walked into the park and max said," So what do you guys want to d-," Max stopped after spotting a hot girl. "I don't know about you two but I'm going to go try and get that girl's number."
He walked away, your joking! He left me with Harvey. I'm about to be a nervous wreck now. What am I suppose to do now?
"Hey Ill race you to the monkey bars," Harvey said breaking the silence and taking off to the playground with me running behind his.
"You are such a child Kitt."
" Hey I haven't heard that nickname for a long time, and I might as well be a child at the park," He said smiling and hanging on top of the bars and reaching for my hand.
I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up onto the kiddie monkey bars next to him. We had sat there for a moment until he once again broke the silence.
"Hey Amelia, can I talk to you about something?" Harvey asked as I nervously nodded my head. " So I... Um..."
"Race ya to the swings!"
I took off running to the swings. I'm not ready for this, I don't know if I'm ready yet. We reached the swings and I jumped on the swing for him to push me. Instead, he stood in front of the swing so I couldn't move.
"Amelia, can we please talk?" Harvey asked again. I nodded and Harvey took my hand and led me to a shady corner of the park away from everything. We sat down on the ground and Harvey continued.
"Ok Amelia, Listen I really like you. I have been hiding this for the last 2 years. I don't know if you feel the same or not though so I never made my move an-," He said before cutting him off.
"Yes, I do feel the same, Harvey."
"Really!" Harvey said ecstatically.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him to lay down next to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He pulled away from the kiss.
"Amelia, Will you be my girlfriend?" Harvey asked as I happily nodded my head and kissed him again before he pulled away for the second time.
"So does this mean I can lay in your bed now without you yelling at me?" Harvey asked being sarcastic.
" YES! you can do me in that bed if that makes you happy. Now kiss me, Kitt!"
He rolled me over onto my back and kissed me more. then max walked over.
"Hey guys look what I got from that gir-," Max stopped and looked down at us. " Damn, how long was I gone?!" ____________________________________ millie_ml101
