Stellar strode through the pristine halls of the Commission that she knew all too well, navigating the endless maze of passageways with ease. She stopped when she reached a staircase and walked downstairs, where she came to another long traverse of endless monotonous hallways. Left, right, left, left, right, skip that intersection, right again. Stellar counted the steps in her head as she walked until she reached a metal door, which opened automatically when she stood in front of them to reveal a giant space.

Weapons lined the walls and mats were laid on parts of the floor in an intricate pattern. A space had been set aside for gym equipment, and another part was a target section.

Stellar smiled when she saw a familiar head of short, messy brown hair standing at the target area and walked over.

"Boo!" She said, placing her hands on Lila's shoulders.

Lila yelped and grabbed Stellar's wrist, body slamming her sudden attacker to the floor, which worked for a second before Stellar swept her legs under Lila and she fell to the floor too. The two sisters looked at each other for a second before laughing and getting up again.

"Jesus, don't scare me like that, you little shit." Lila said jokingly.

"You should have noticed me." Stellar teased back.

"You're still small." Lila shot back.

"Low blow." Stellar said in mock disappointment as the two girls made their way over to the weapons.

"I'm just sayin'." Lila continued, grabbing a punching bag. Stellar stuck her tongue out before looking along the sharp blades and picking out a bunch of throwing knifes, weighing them carefully in her hand. Lila began to walk away to claim them an area. Stellar hesitated, then grabbed a whole trolley of blades including multiple axes and knifes. She dragged them over the the area that Lila had found and set up her punching bag.

"So, how's the timeline management been going?" Lila said, attempting at small talk as she began to throw punches at the bag.

"Honestly?" Stellar said, retrieving her knifes and setting herself up in front of the many targets.

"Yeah." Lila said before grunting and kicking the punching bag violently.

"Shit." Stellar said shortly, looking at Lila, turning away from the targets and throwing her knife. It hit the bullseye exactly with a sharp whistle in the air and a thunk.

"It takes everyone weeks to figure out one problem!" Stellar complained, throwing the remaining four knifes at different targets around her. Each hit the bullseye with a loud thud.

"Maybe they're just bad." Lila suggested, still beating up the punching bag.

"Yeah." Stellar sighed in exasperation. "They are. You'd think that these people can think of the ripples that things can cause to the future just fine, but no."

She moved to the trolley, picking up a heavy axe and lobbing it over her head at another target. It lodged itself neatly into the middle.

"Bummer." Lila said sarcastically, breathing heavily and she punched the bag again.

"Hey, it's not funny! I have lots of events that are being triggered all throughout the years and no one is able to fix them in a reasonable period of time!" Stellar whined.

"Why don't you do it?" Lila grunted.

"Because I'm always locked in that damn room." Stellar shot back matter of factly. "Plus, I'm worrying about other things."

"At least you're in charge of something." Lila pointed out.

"That's because NO ONE in that department can do anything." Stellar said. "You're one of the best assassins here. You're sure to get promoted within the month. I went on what? One mission, fainted from a vision and have been stuck here ever since."
