3rd person pov

Five stood outside the hotel where he knew the Handler was staying. He was cautious - he didn't trust this offer, Lila or Stellar. Everything posed as a threat here. There was no way we was going in unarmed.

Stellar pov

Stellar and Lila were standing in the deserted lobby, talking about Lila's mission. They had both agreed that staying in the same room with their mother for too long was only slightly draining, besides, Stellar needed a break from tracing all the futures.

Stellar's melodious laugh filled the room.

"You had to pose...as a crazy lady!" She gasped for breath. "Oh my gosh, that's hilarious!"

Lila frowned at her, but had to hide a smile. It had been so long since she had seen Stellar smile and laugh like this. In fact, it had been a long time since she had seen Stellar anywhere but inside the walls of the Commission. Suddenly, Stellar's laugh disappeared. She gazed intently into Lila's eyes, suddenly alert, eyes flashing with life. Lila stared back, confused. Stellar scanned Lila's eyes again, then suddenly lifted her hand as a knife came whizzing past her face and towards Lila's nose, catching it deftly. She stared at the knife in her hand for a second, Lila breathing heavily at the near death experience.

Stellar whipped around and threw the knife violently towards the figure in the shadows behind her. The figure disappeared in a flash of blue light. Stellar's eyes widened in realisation.

"Go back to the room." She murmured.

Lila, having put two and two together about the blue flash and attempted assassination attempt, shook her head.

"I wanna kill that little shit." She protested.

"You had your fight with him. It's my turn." Stellar declined in a low whisper, eyes scanning the room cautiously. Lila rolled her eyes, but complied, mimicking Five's power and spatial jumping back to the hotel room.

[cue the fight music lmao]

(idk what fight music - probably toxic by 2WEI)

Five reappeared behind Stellar, trapping her in a headlock. Although they were both in younger bodies, Five was still taller. Stellar reacted quickly, slamming her head back into his face. Five yelped in pain and let go, spacial jumping elsewhere as he enveloped himself in the familiar blue light. This time, Stellar experienced a brief vision of the future. She smiled. He would be in front of her, about 5 metres. In three, two... Stellar ran at the spot where he would soon be, and just as Five appeared and swung his fist to punch her, Stellar slid on her knees and skidded low on the ground before sweeping her legs around, tripping Five. He spacial jumped away again before he could fall on his back.

"Man, I hate that." Stellar muttered grumpily. This power meant that there was no way she could pin him down or trap him, not unless he was unconscious or too weak. Maybe she just needed to tire him out. However, Stellar didn't know much about this boy, and he seemed pretty resourceful. She also didn't know the extent of his fighting skills, so she would just have to do this a quicker way.

She ran towards the wall and pulled out the knife that had been lodged into it, brandishing it's shiny silver tip as she walked forward.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of blue light, and her instincts kicked in - she hurled the knife over towards it, aimed straight at Five's chest. He spacial jumped away again, the knife flying into the wall behind him and sticking there. This time, Stellar activated her illusion power, her hands and eyes glowing a faint purple run through with golden sparks as she focused. She would need lots of energy for this.
