Stellar leaned back on her elbows on the roof, closing her eyes as Lila's receding footsteps faded away. She felt an unfamiliar bliss wash over her as the sun shone down on her face and the gentle breeze blew through her hair, causing it to softly fly behind her.

Head of Management.

Stellar felt like the world was at her fingertips. Except for that one incessant bell ringing in her mind.

All this killing? I'm done with it.

She couldn't get it out of her mind. He could have had everything. But he chose his family.

Stellar pondered on this, Five's words echoing in her mind.

Suddenly, she heard that very same voice in the alleyway below.

"It was a simple task! All we had to do was be here. Did we have to fight a sea monster? No. An army of mutants? Nein! I can't believe this! It was handed to us on a silver platter!"

Stellar winced as she heard Five's sharp voice cutting through the once peaceful silence. Someone else muttered something, but Five was quick to retort.

"Listen to me, you useless puke bag. We just blew our chance to save the world!" Five yells.

Stellar hears something start to make a whirring sound, like it was powering up. Next thing she knew, a briefcase was being hurled violently in her direction before disappearing with a blue flash. Stellar yelped, sitting up abruptly. She peered over the edge of the roof and saw Five, a big man and another person lying on the floor next to a giant puddle of puke. Stellar wrinkled her nose slightly.

"Man, can't I just get one moment of peace?" Stellar asks exasperatedly.

"That close." Five seethed. "We were that close."

Stellar realised that his time limit to get back to 2019 must have just been elapsed. She pursed her lips, feeling somewhat sorry for him.

"Now what?" The big man asked uncertainly.

"Now nothing, alright, Luther?! Make your peace with god." Five snaps.

"What? What about Allison and Vanya?" Luther pushes.

Who? Stellar wondered. Oh. She internally face palmed. These must be the Hargreeves siblings.

"Screw them." Five fumed. "They should have been here."

The man on the floor moaned softly and sat up.

"What about Diego? He's quite a responsible young man, no?"

Stellar felt a wave of realisation wash over her. Diego was the one Lila was looking for. She wondered if Lila had found him, and if she was the reason he wasn't here now.

"Screw Diego, alright?!" Five exclaims in pure rage. "Screw everybody! I was better off on my own in the apocalypse."

Stellar tilts her head at this. The apocalypse, huh?

"Come on, Five!" Luther pleads.

"No, you know what, Luther?" Five refuses. "It's every sibling for themselves now. How about that?" He throws his hands up in the air and walks in through a door back into the house opposite Stellar. Luther follows after, yelling.

Stellar watches as the man on the floor starts talking to the puddle of puke on the floor next to him with one eyebrow raised.

"Did Five just...get meaner?" He whimpers dramatically.

Stellar sighs and leaves him to his own business.

---

Stellar creeps into the place where Five and Luther went into a couple of hours ago. She doesn't bother with her illusions - she's planning on letting them see her and talking to them anyway. With the silent tread of an assassin, she walks into the living room and takes a seat on one of the chairs, swinging her legs over on of the armrests. In the kitchen, Five and Luther are conversing.
