I wish,

When you hear my name, you smile
I wish your lips would curve
In a gentle, knowing way
That my name would bring you joy
And brighten up your day

Just like I smile
When I hear yours
My heart leaps with delight
Whenever your name is spoken
A simple sound, so sweet
A bond that can't be broken

I wish you would see
The light in my eyes
A spark that shines so bright
Whenever you're around
An illuminate of my love
In which my hopes are found

Just like I see
The stars in your skies
Your eyes, a galaxy
Of dreams and endless light.
I lose myself in wonder,
In their beauty every night

I wish you would feel
The warmth of my touch
A gentle, tender touch,
That speaks of love so true.
A comfort in the cold,
A bond between us two.

Just like I feel
Your presence so much
Even when you're far,
I sense you in the air.
A whisper in the wind,
A feeling always there.

I wish you would know
The depth of my care
A love that's deep and vast,
Like oceans wide and blue.
A constant, steady force,
That always pulls to you.

Just like I know
You're always there
In every thought and dream,
In every silent prayer.
Your presence fills my heart,
With love beyond compare.

I wish you would stay
When the world falls apart
To hold me through the storm,
To never let me go.
To be my rock, my supporter,
When tides of sorrow flow.

Just like I stay
With you in my heart
No matter where you are,
No matter where you roam.
You live within my soul.
My heart, your constant home.

I wish you would hear
The silence I keep
The words I never say,
The tears I never show.
The quiet cries for you,
The love you'll never know.

Just like I hear
Your voice in my sleep
A whisper in the night,
A comfort in my dreams.
Your voice, a loving whisper,
That cures my broken seams.

I wish you would find
The love that I hide
A treasure deep within,
A secret, precious part.
A love that's pure and true,
That's here within my heart.

Just like I find
My tears when I cried
In moments of despair,
When loneliness is near.
I find my hidden tears,
And wish that you were here.

I wish you would miss
The moments we shared
The laughter and the joy,
The memories so dear,
The times we spent together,
The moments crystal clear.

Just like I miss
The times when you cared
When your love was my shield,
When your touch was my guide.
I miss the days of old,
When you were by my side.
