"Yeppeuda!" Rhea exclaimed, admiring her reflection in the mirror, her face as red as a tomato. She stepped out of the bathroom and paused, uncertain which direction to take.
She turned right, but the loud noise was too overwhelming. Then she turned left, smiling as the quiet was much more pleasant. With a bow, she said her goodbyes and closed the apartment door behind her.
Stumbling slightly, Rhea entered the elevator and pressed a random button. She continued to smile repeatedly, blissfully unaware of the chaos her actions were about to create.
Ji Hye, Sang Hee, and everyone else were in a frenzy searching for Rhea. Her phone was left behind in the room, and she didn't have her wallet with her. "Let's report her missing to the police!" Tia said, unable to wait any longer. After all, Rhea was her responsibility while she was in Korea.
"We can only report someone missing after twenty-four hours have passed," replied Si Won, equally worried.
Among all of them, there was one person who appeared calm but was actually feeling an overwhelming sense of panic. He was deep in thought, searching for a way to find Rhea. He quickly grabbed his jacket and rushed out.
"Jun Ho-ya, eoddiga?" Unfortunately, Jun Ho didn't respond to Jun K.
He sprinted down the emergency stairs and reached the first floor to talk to the building's security guard. After explaining that his friend was missing, Jun Ho asked for the guard's help to check the CCTV. They headed to the surveillance room, and the guard promptly instructed his colleague to search for the person Jun Ho was describing.
"Is this the person you're looking for?" The guard's friend zoomed in on a screen showing a woman entering the elevator.
Jun Ho recalled Rhea's outfit and, indeed, the woman on the CCTV was Rhea. Unfortunately, the guard and his colleague had no idea where Rhea had gone. What was certain was that Rhea was still inside the building. The guard mentioned he hadn't seen anyone matching the description leave the building until Jun Ho approached him.
"Kamsahamnida," Jun Ho said, thanking the security guard before dashing out of the surveillance room. Reluctantly, he had to check every floor since he still had no clue where Rhea might have gone.
BANG
Jun Ho's breath came in ragged gasps. The only place he hadn't searched was the rooftop. With a determined gaze that fans likened to a wolf, he scanned every corner. And there, sitting alone with a bottle of soju beside her, was a woman.
Jun Ho approached Rhea slowly. "Rhea-ya," he called softly.
Rhea looked up, peeking. "Hm? Bonbujangnim!" she exclaimed, standing up quickly and bowing. "Annyeong haseyo," she mumbled with a smile.
"Hm? Bonbujangnim aniyeyo." With a dazed expression, Rhea looked at Jun Ho again, this time adjusting her glasses. "Ah! Annyeong haseyo, 2PM-e Jun Ho imnida" she continued to babble, demonstrating the greeting style of 2PM members.
In truth, Jun Ho was quite worried about the woman in front of him. Yet, at the same time, her antics were irresistibly adorable. "Let's head back!" Jun Ho draped his right arm over Rhea's shoulder, helping her walk properly.
"Sirheoyo!" Rhea wriggled free and returned to her original spot. Realizing he couldn't go back to the apartment without her, Jun Ho decided to sit down as well.
Silence enveloped them, punctuated only by Rhea's occasional hiccups. Jun Ho glanced at the woman next to him. Her cheeks were flushed, and the sound of her hiccups only added to her endearing charm.
