AUTHOR'S POV-
TIME SKIPS TO TWO MONTHSIt's been two months since Rashvik and Sarakshi got married, yet things are pretty much the same as before. After their trip to London, everyone expected to see more closeness between the two, but that hasn't happened—at least not in front of others. What people don't notice are the small interactions between them.
They definitely don't talk much, but they never miss a chance to bicker. The only positive change is that Rashvik has stopped being unnecessarily rude to her. He mostly focuses on his work and tries not to get too involved in anything else. Sarakshi, on the other hand, can't help the growing feelings she has for him. Over the past few weeks, she has developed the habit of staying awake until he comes home, no matter how late, just to gather the courage for a simple conversation with him when no one else is around.
Although Rashvik has repeatedly told her not to wait up for him but she always finds an excuse to stay awake. Rajiv, having noticed all of this, wanted to talk to Rashvik about it but hadn't found the right moment.
Day by day, Sarakshi's bond with the other family members grew stronger. She and Ananya had become best friends, inseparable and unable to go a day without each other. Prachi and Sarakshi were like real sisters—Prachi always took care of her, making sure she was happy, even though she couldn't always convince Rashvik to do the same. Still, she tried her best. Sarakshi had also become extremely close to the kids. Aaraush and Aarushi spent entire days with her and often refused to go home at night, leading them to sleep in with her many times.
Pichu had grown especially attached to her, always staying close by. Sometimes, he even refused to go to Rashvik, preferring to be near Sarakshi. Her papa ji and cuties were always there for her, supporting her in every way.
At the moment, Sarakshi was preparing breakfast while Rashvik worked on his laptop, with Pichu playing around him. Reyansh and Rakshit had gone on a morning walk with Rajiv, trying to fix their sleep schedules as their schools, along with Sarakshi's college, were about to start.
Sarakshi wasn't excited about her college reopening, especially since she would be attending a new one, making it hard for her to adjust to the unfamiliar environment. The only thing she looked forward to was being classmates with Ananya, knowing that at least she'd have her by her side. Despite how much she disliked school and college, she couldn't resist Ananya's company and that would be the only reason she'd go every day.
"Bhabhiiiiii!" Reyansh and Rakshit chirped as they entered the room. Rashvik glanced up at them, ready to say something about being loud so early in the morning, but instead, he just shook his head and returned to his work.
"Bachoooo!" Sarakshi replied, matching their enthusiasm.
"Happy second-month marriage anniversary, Bhabhi!" they said in unison, hugging her from both sides.
"Oh my God, I didn't even remember! Thank you, cuties" she laughed, kissing both of their cheeks, making them giggle.
"Roses for our beautiful Bhabhi" Reyansh said, extending his hands to offer her the roses they had bought. Rakshit did the same, and Rajiv also handed her a rose with a big smile, patting her head. Sarakshi's eyes lit up with excitement as she gratefully accepted the flowers.
"Thank you so much, these are so pretty! Why are you guys so sweet?" she said in a playful, puppy-like voice as she pulled them into a group hug. It had been like this for the past two months—her cuties bringing her random gifts, taking her places, and showering her with love. Rashvik heard everything, but his focus remained on his work.
"Papa ji, your coffee" Sarakshi said, placing the cup on the dining table before heading back to the kitchen, where Reyansh and Rakshit were sitting on the counter like kids.
