AUTHOR'S POV-
"You too" saying that the three men went silent, their eyes still wide, jaw dropped. They exchanged glances with each other.
Sarakshi found herself in a state of utter confusion. She had anticipated a different reaction altogether one of praise and happiness. Instead, she was met with something entirely unexpected.
They stayed there for a few minutes, not even moving an inch. Sarakshi was getting impatient to know what they meant by 'you too'
"What happened, Papa Ji? Is there any problem?" she asked in a low voice, looking down, not enjoying the spotlight she was getting.
"No there's no problem bache, it's amazing," Rajiv said, getting closer to her and giving her a side hug
She relaxed, meeting the genuine gaze of her papa ji's, finding in it the sincerity and wisdom she had anticipated.
"Wow, bhabhi, that's great. I knew our bhabhi is super talented" Reyansh said, engulfing her in a big hug
"Yes, bhabhi," Rakshit said, hugging her too
She was sandwiched between both of them. Despite all the compliments she was getting, she couldn't help but wonder about what they really meant by their "you too."
"Wh-what did you guys sa-say?" she asked, breaking the hug.
"What do you mean by 'you too'?" she said, looking at Rajiv, her voice low and hesitant."There's someone we know who also paints. We were surprised to learn that you paint as well," Reyansh said, laughing nervously.
"Oh?" Sarakshi exclaimed.
"And that someone is very close to us," Rakshit added, echoing Reyansh's nervous laugh.
"Kids, I think we should tell her who that someone is," Rajiv interjected, looking at the younger ones.
"Dad, you know that someone doesn't like telling people about it," Reyansh replied, giving his father a pointed look.
"Yes, Dad. If he wants to, he will tell her himself," Rakshit agreed.
"Looks like that someone is really close to you guys," Sarakshi said, giving them a tight-lipped smile.
The others nodded, giving her hesitant smiles. Sarakshi noticed their odd behavior but decided not to intrude, so she remained silent.
"Anyways, bhabhi you have to show us your paintings," Rakshit said, clasping his hands together
"Of course, I will. I'm excited about the fact that finally, I have someone whom I can show my paintings to, share my thoughts and enjoy every moment of it" Sarakshi said, getting excited.
"There is someone else with whom you'll share all this, and he will share with you." Rakshit muttered under his breath, unheard by anyone except Reyansh, who was standing beside him.
"maje are hai Aksh" Reyansh whispered, looking down at his shoes to ensure no one saw him mouthing the words.
(It's fun Aksh)
"You said something Akshu?" Sarakshi asked him
"No-nothing bhabhi" He replied, the wide grin on his face constant.
"By the way, beta, do you go by your real name or have a pseudonym?" Rajiv asked her
"Um..... I have a pseudonym but it's kind of weird" She replied, tucking her hair behind her ears and looking down
