RASHVIK'S POV-

After a lot of chit-chat and bickering, we finally reached home. Dad was on the lawn waiting for us. After getting out of the car, I took Pichu in my arms as Sarakshi was holding him for a long time. We entered inside and Dad asked.

"How was the shopping trip" Sarakshi looked at him with a big smile and forwarded her hand in order to hug Dad. Dad engulfed her in a big hug just like he did with us.

"It was amazing" she whispered, breaking the hug and we settled on the couch dropping all the shopping bags.

"Dad we had so much fun, and we shopped for you too" Rakshit said

"For me too? Itna pyar mere liye" Dad replied to him, raising his brows

(so much love for me)

"Are kya kare ab, ek hi papa hai humare karna padta hai, teen char hote to baat alag thi" Rakshit said, with a fake sad expression

(Oh, what to do now, we only have one dad, so we have to manage. If there were three or four, it would be a different matter)

"Besharam" Dad said hitting him lightly and we burst out laughing

(shameless)

Pichu wiggled in my arm and raised his head from my neck looking at me with half-closed eyes. Our loud laughing noise woke him up. He looked around and smiled cutely looking at Dad. He jumped in his arm.

He excitedly explained to Dad in his gibberish language what he did today and other things that only Dad understood, The rest of us just looked at them having their cute conversations.

"Papa ji, did you have your dinner" Sarakshi said in a low voice, looking at Dad. She looks everyone in the eyes except me, I wonder why it is like that.

"Yes Bache, I had dinner already" he replied to her. 'Itne pyar se toh kabhi humse baat nahi karte, Dad.'

(You never talk to us that lovingly, dad)

She was talking to them very confidently, without any hesitation. It was like they had known each other for a long time. But she never shows this side to me; she considers me a stranger.

"Bhai, here are your goggles. You forgot them in the car" Reyansh said, handing me the goggles that I instantly loved and bought without a second thought.

"Thank you, mere bhai. Isko kaise bhul gaya main?" I said, getting up and hugging him.

(how did I forget this)

"Are, main hoon na aapke paas," he said, hugging me back.

(hey! You have me with you)

"Tu toh mere jigar ka tukda hai" I said, putting my arm around his shoulder.

(You are a piece of my heart.)

"Aur main? Kidney ka stone?" Rakshit said, getting up and staring at us.

(and me? Kidney's stone?)

Before we could react or say anything, we heard a loud laugh. It was Sarakshi. She covered her mouth and continued laughing, ignoring the fact that we were watching her. She turned red from laughing so much. She rested her head on Dad's shoulder, still laughing like a maniac. Itna acha joke bhi nahi tha.

"Bhabhi, saans lo" Reyansh said, looking at her.

(bhabhi breathe)

"I know I'm great, and thanks for the appreciation, bhabhi" Rakshit said, thinking she liked his joke, which she obviously did.
