1 Year Down, Forever to Go
It was a sunny afternoon in Seoul, and the air was filled with excitement for Sophie. Today marked a very special day—her one-year anniversary with Avery.
She had planned something extraordinary to celebrate, knowing how hard Avery had been working with his Business Management studies at Korea University. They were supposed to meet later in the day, but Sophie had something else in mind—a surprise he wouldn't forget.Dressed elegantly but casually, Sophie made her way to Korea University, her heart racing in anticipation as she cruised through the streets of Seoul in her sleek Ferrari. The engine purred beneath her as she approached the entrance, the polished red exterior catching the afternoon sunlight and turning heads as she neared the campus gates.
As Sophie pulled up, the guard's eyes widened slightly at the sight of the luxury car. She rolled down the window, flashing him a charming smile.
"I'm here to visit my brother, Clyde," she said smoothly, referencing her twin brother who studied law at the university. The guard, knowing Clyde's reputation and taken by the sight of Sophie's car, didn't question further and waved her through.
The Ferrari glided through the campus, attracting attention from students as Sophie navigated her way to the parking lot. Her heart pounded with excitement, knowing she was about to surprise Avery on their one-year anniversary. She parked in a secluded spot and took a deep breath, savoring the thrill of the surprise she had planned.
She knew how focused Avery had been on his studies, and she wanted to lift some of that stress and bring joy to their special day. What Avery didn't know was that Sophie had orchestrated a surprise pick-up after his last class of the day.
Sophie's heart raced as she navigated the enormous Korea University campus in her sleek Ferrari, trying to find Avery's Business Management building. Lost in thought, she stopped a group of students and politely asked, "Hi, may I know where the Business Management building area is?"
One student, pointing towards a distant section of the campus, said, "It's on the south wing. This area is for the Law department."
Sophie's brow furrowed slightly, "Is it far?"
The student smiled, "If you're driving, it's pretty close."
Grateful, Sophie nodded and turned to head back to her car when she heard a familiar voice call out, "Sophie!
Turning around, she saw her brother Clyde approaching her. A mix of surprise and amusement lit up her face. "Hi, brother! Sophie hug her brother, How did you know I was here?" she asked, genuinely curious.
"I saw you from my classroom window," Clyde chuckled, gesturing towards the building behind him. "It wasn't hard to spot your Ferrari. I figured it had to be you. What are you doing here?"
Sophie smiled slyly, "It's a surprise. I'm here to pick up Avery after his class."
Clyde's expression softened. "Ah, that's sweet. Well, don't let me keep you from your surprise. But it's nice seeing you on campus."
As they chatted, a few students from the Law department watched them, assuming they were a couple. Among them was Dom, Avery's friend, who was visiting his girlfriend at the Law department. From afar, he recognized Sophie but didn't know Clyde was her brother. Dom's curiosity piqued as he watched them converse comfortably.
Confused, Dom quickly pulled out his phone and texted Avery, "Hey, man, I saw your girlfriend here at the Law Campus. She's talking to some guy."
Avery, in the middle of his business class, glanced at his phone, frowning slightly. He quickly replied, "Are you sure it's Sophie?"
