Tracker

The next morning, Ali and Sophie arrived at Alex's office, both feeling a mix of anxiety and determination. As they entered, Alex greeted them warmly, and they were surprised to see Patricia there as well.

Patricia immediately walked over to Sophie, wrapping her in a comforting hug. "I heard from Alex," she said gently. "There's a psychopath following you? That must be terrifying."

Sophie exhaled, grateful to have friends around her. "Yes, it's been so scary," she admitted. "I don't know why he's doing this or how long he's been watching me. I just want it to end."

The four of them settled into Alex's office, where he turned to Ali and Sophie, his expression serious. "I'm going to make sure you're protected in every way possible. Ali, Sophie, meet Bryan," he said, motioning to a tall man standing nearby. "Bryan is ex-military, a former Marine. He'll be your driver and personal security, Sophie. He's one of the best."

Bryan stepped forward, his stance firm and reassuring, as he shook hands with Ali. "Thank you for doing this," Ali said, his grip firm. "Please, keep my fiancée safe."

Bryan nodded. "You have my word, Ali. No one's getting past me."

Alex continued, "To make sure we have a backup plan, I want to install trackers on both of your phones. In case of any emergency, we'll know your location."

A tech expert joined them and quickly set up the trackers on Sophie's and Ali's phones. Then Alex looked at Ali. "We can also add an extra layer of security for Sophie. We can inject a small chip in her leg, a tiny tracker that will remain hidden. If something happens and her phone and Apple Watch are taken, we'll still be able to locate her."

Ali hesitated, glancing at Sophie. "Is it safe?" he asked.

Alex nodded, reassuring him. "Yes, it's completely safe. Patricia actually had one implanted when she had a similar incident."

Patricia gave Sophie an encouraging look. "I have one in my leg. You'll barely notice it, and it really does give peace of mind."

Sophie thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay. Let's do it."

Alex carefully injected the chip into Sophie's leg. She winced at the pinch but managed a small smile as she felt Ali's hand gently squeeze her shoulder.

Ali looked into her eyes, determined. "We're going to outsmart this guy, Sophie. He won't be able to get near you without us knowing. You're safe."

To test the chip, the tech expert pulled up a computer screen, showing a red dot that marked Sophie's exact location. The system worked flawlessly, tracking her movements in real-time.

Afterward, Patricia turned to Sophie. "Come with me to the gym area. I'll teach you a few basic self-defense moves, just in case."

Sophie looked skeptical. "You know I'm nothing like you, Patricia. You're a black belt! I can barely throw a punch."

Patricia laughed softly. "You don't need to be a black belt. There are simple moves anyone can learn to protect themselves. Trust me."

Reluctantly, Sophie followed Patricia to the gym, where they slipped into training clothes. Patricia demonstrated basic techniques for escaping holds, blocking attacks, and finding weak points in an opponent. Sophie's confidence slowly grew as she practiced each move, her mind focusing on her newfound strength rather than her fear.

After a few rounds, Sophie stopped, breathing heavily. "Thank you, Patricia. I feel... a little stronger."

Patricia placed a hand on Sophie's shoulder. "Remember, Sophie, when you're scared, think of Ali and remember that help is on the way. The tracker will let us find you quickly, and Bryan will be right there. Just stay calm and be brave."
