SOPERBK ENTERING THE MARKET
Sophie had been anxiously awaiting the letter all week. With every passing day, her excitement and nerves built, knowing that this decision could mark a pivotal moment for SOperbK's global expansion. As she sat at her desk, her phone buzzed with an email notification. It was from the Australian Importing and Exporting Authority.
Her heart raced as she clicked it open. The words "approved" stood out in bold, and she gasped. SOperbK was officially granted access to the Australian market! The door was now open to import and export the finest agricultural products between South Korea and Australia.
Without hesitation, Sophie grabbed her phone, dialing Ali, her boyfriend, who had been by her side throughout the entire process. The phone barely rang twice before Ali picked up.
"Hey, love. What's up?" he asked, his voice warm and familiar.
"I got the letter, Ali! We're in! SOperbK is officially entering the Australian market!" she said, her voice bubbling with joy.
"That's incredible!" Ali's voice matched her excitement. "I'm so proud of you, Sophie. You worked so hard for this, and now it's happening."
Sophie beamed, her fingers tapping the desk in a happy rhythm. "It's really happening. I can't wait to tell everyone. I just sent an email to the shareholders and investors, and I'm sure they'll be thrilled."
And thrilled they were. Within minutes of sending out the email, replies from shareholders and investors flooded her inbox. Words like "congratulations" and "fantastic work" popped up, as they expressed their happiness over SOperbK's successful expansion. The business was taking a huge leap forward, and it was all coming together.
Finally, Sophie thought of one more person she needed to thank—Avery. Avery had been instrumental in connecting SOperbK to the Australian market. She quickly dialed his number.
After a couple of rings, Avery answered. "Hey, Sophie. How are you?"
"Avery!" Sophie nearly shouted with excitement. "I just got the letter—SOperbK has been approved to enter the Australian market!"
Avery smiled through the phone, and Sophie could feel his happiness for her. "That's amazing news, Sophie! I'm so glad I could help. You did all the hard work."
"I couldn't have done it without you," Sophie replied sincerely. "Thank you so much. I really appreciate it."
"You're very welcome, Sophie. I know this is just the beginning for SOperbK. The Australian market is going to love your products."
Sophie hung up the phone, her heart swelling with pride and gratitude. It had taken months of hard work, countless late nights, and the help of her connections, but SOperbK was on its way to conquering new markets.
As she looked out of the window at the golden fields that stretched for miles, Sophie knew that this was just the beginning of an even bigger journey. She had her team, her family, and her friends by her side—and with them, there was nothing she couldn't achieve.
The idea had been lingering in Sophie's mind all day. Avery had been such a pivotal part of SOperbK's expansion into the Australian market, and she wanted to thank him properly. A simple "thank you" just didn't seem enough for all his hard work and support. That's when it hit her—what better way to express her gratitude than by inviting him to a gathering at her family's Hanok mansion?
She looked out at the traditional home nestled among the lush fields, where her family had lived for generations. The mansion had always been a place of joy, tradition, and celebration, and she knew that inviting Avery here would make the gratitude feel more personal.
Later that evening, she mentioned her idea to Ali over dinner. His comforting presence always helped her think clearly.
Ali, I've been thinking," Sophie began, her voice soft but excited. "Avery has helped so much with SOperbK's entry into the Australian market. I want to thank him properly. What do you think about inviting him over to the Hanok mansion? We could have a gathering with friends and family—a way to really celebrate."
Ali smiled at her, a knowing look in his eyes. "I think that's a great idea, Sophie. He's done a lot to help, and it would be nice to show him our appreciation. Besides, if this makes you happy, then I'm all for it."
Really?" Sophie grinned, feeling reassured. "Thank you, Ali. You're the best."
Ali chuckled and leaned in to kiss her on the forehead. "Of course. Whatever makes you happy, let's do it. I'll be there after work tomorrow. We can have a little party, and it'll be fun. It's the perfect way to celebrate."
Sophie's face lit up. "I'll invite Avery tomorrow at dinnertime. You'll be there, right?"
Ali nodded. "Of course, I'll be there. My brother Clyde will come as well. He's been wanting to catch up with you. It'll be great."
Sophie leaned back, a wave of excitement filling her. The idea of bringing her close friends and family together, along with Avery, made her feel that everything was finally coming together.
In the afternoon sun, Sophie sat by the window of her office, watching the golden light spill over the fields surrounding the Hanok mansion. She picked up her phone and dialed Avery's number, her fingers drumming lightly on the table. It only took three rings before Avery answered.
"Hello, Sophie!" came Avery's friendly voice, sounding pleasantly surprised.
Hi, Avery!" Sophie said with a bright smile, feeling her heart warm at how this moment was unfolding. "I wanted to call you personally. I've been thinking—my family and I would really love to express our gratitude for all the help you've given SOperbK.
I'd like to invite you to a gathering at our Hanok mansion tomorrow evening. It'll just be close friends and family. Ali, my brother Clyde, my parents... and of course, you can bring your friends too, if you'd like. It's our way of saying thank you."
There was a pause on the other end before Avery spoke, his voice filled with sincerity. "Wow, Sophie, you really don't have to do that. I just wanted to help because I believe in what you're doing. But this is really kind of you. My heart is full of gratitude. I'm honored, and of course, I'll be there tomorrow night."
Sophie smiled, relieved that Avery appreciated the gesture. "I'm so glad! It's nothing compared to what you've done for us, but we'd love to have you join us. It's going to be a lovely evening."
"Thank you, Sophie," Avery said again, his voice warm. "I can't wait. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Perfect. See you soon, Avery," Sophie replied before hanging up.
As Sophie placed her phone down, she felt a sense of excitement and calm wash over her. Tomorrow would be a special evening—a chance to celebrate not just the business success but also the people who had helped make it happen. The Hanok mansion, with its timeless beauty and peaceful atmosphere, would be the perfect backdrop for a night of gratitude and connection.
