Dire was by the gate with a few Nightwolves, keeping an eye out before suddenly noticing Chris and the group returning.
"They've returned! Open the gate!" said Dire as they opened the gate, where the group burst through before eventually slowing down, catching their breath. "You made it! We're you followed?" asked Kate. "I don't think so. Think we got out clean." said Chris. "Don't worry. You'll be safe here. You can stay here until the heat dies down before you guys go about your way." said Carla. "Thank you. We owe you our lives. My name is Han and this is Skye." said Han. "Is there any way we can repay you?" Skye asked. "Well, how about from now on you guys avoid exploring dark caves?" said Chris. "Deal." said Han. "Dire, gather the pack. We found something that they must know." said Chris. Soon, the Nightwolves would gather at the den. "Nightwolves, during our mission, we made a shocking discovery. The prisoners were not just those 2 scientists, but other fellow wolves." said Chris as everyone gasped. "What? Who are the ones responsible for their capture?" asked Dire. "That's the next part. The ones responsible were none other....than actual humans." said Chris. Everyone began clammoring. "How can humans do such a thing??" exclaimed a wolf. "After all we did for them, this is how they repay us?!?!" exclaimed another wolf. The pack was irate. Carla would then whistle very loud, forcing everyone to quiet down. "Listen! I know everyone is upset about the situation. But we can assure, that those humans are NOT the ones we're close allies with. These humans are different and they run their own group, along with their leader, who we believe is more than just human. We're going to get to the bottom of this and we'll take them down together!" said Carla. "All we need to do is come up with a strategic plan to attack their base and free those wolves. Once we free them, we take down their leader." said Chris. "Sir!! We got company!!" shouted a guard as suddenly explosives flew over the walls. "Defensive positions!!" shouted Chris as suddenly the raiders bursted through the gate and fire slowly began to spread. The Nightwolves slowly fought but were slowly being captured. Chris then regrouped with Carla. "Carla, where are the kids??" he asked. "They should be in the cabin! I'll get them and we'll head out!" said Carla. "Alright, be careful!" said Chris as Carla sprints to the cabin. Chris was about to defend the Sanctuary but multiple explosions go off as trees collapsed onto him, leaving him unconscious.
"Luna! Leo!" called out Carla as fire was spreading through the house. "Mom, in here! Leo's passed out!" said Luna as Carla burst thought the debris. "We gotta get out of here! Come on!" said Carla as she helps Luna carry Leo. But as they were about to escape, the female commander from before bursts through the door. She stares at them before letting out a chuckle. "Well, well, looks I've hit the jackpot. You must be one of the leaders here. The name's Scarr." she said. Carla then pulls out of her blades. "I don't care who you are. Get out of our home." she said with a glare. "Ooh. A little feisty there, eh? I love it. We're gonna have a fun time." said Scarr as she pulled a baton. "Kids, stay behind me." said Carla. The two had a brief staredown before the two leapt towards each other. The two exchanged hits. Carla delivered a swift sidekick to the head before kicking her in the midsection. Scarr looks up and chuckles. "Nice. Very nice." she said as she wiped her shoulder. Carla was about to attack her once more but before she could react, Scarr quickly grabbed her leg and slammed her to the wall, leaving her unconscious. "MOM!!" shouted Luna as suddenly more raiders entered and surrounded the kids. "Take them away. I'll let the boss know we have some high value prisoners." said Scarr. Carla weakly looks at as Scarr takes notice. She then got on her knee and takes her mask off. "You fight well, sunflower. But your not good enough to beat me. When I'm through with you, I'll make sure you'll NEVER see the light of day." scowled Scarr as she then knocks Carla out.
Scarr would then walk out the now destroyed cabin, along with Carla and the kids. "Take them away, boys! Let's get a move on!" shouted Scarr as the raiders cheered in victory as they made their way back to their cave.
