Chapter 8: Amoux vs Vigor: Part II

The group approaches Vigor's fortress before coming across Screenslaver. But the Incredibles stepped up. "Go! We got her!" said Elastigirl as Amoux nodded and raced to the top. He was then followed by Dire. "You coming?" said Amoux. "Only to get Vigor for fooling me and responsible for killing my tribe. Let's bring him to justice." said Dire as Amoux nodded. The two then arrived to the top, where Vigor is standing. "Vigor!" said Amoux as he turned to him with surprise. "Amoux? How did you survive my bounty hunter?!" exclaimed Vigor. "It's because I joined him!" said Dire as he appears beside him. "He told me everything! You lied to me about my tribe!! It was YOU who killed them! My family!" said Dire as Vigor was stunned before he chuckled. "You may have joined him but I still have these." said Vigor as he pulled out the Mythic Wolf Blades. He jumps down and gets into a fighting stance. Amoux and Dire look at each other before nodding and too get into fighting stance. "I believe that belongs to me." said Amoux as the two charged and the two fought Vigor for the blades. Vigor leaps in the air and clashes with Dire as he held his ground. He would then respond with a backflip kick to his chin as he stumbled. Amoux then turns his axes to his staff form as he charged towards Vigor. He hits him on the chin as he stumbled and Amoux would grab him by back of his neck and delivers a knee to his face. Vigor yells as he suddenly grabbed Dire and impaled him on his shoulder with his own sword as he screamed in pain. "Dire!!" yelled Amoux as Vigor tossed him aside. Amoux then charges at Vigor before getting stabbed in his midsection. He falls on the ground as Vigor steps on his chest. "It's over, Amoux. You can't beat me. Not even your friends can." said Vigor as he was about to finish him. "Hey!" said a voice. Vigor turns and sees Luna. Amoux sees his daughter. "Luna?" said Amoux. Vigor then roars in laughter. "Seriously, Amoux? Is this...child your backup or something?" he said as he approached her. "What's your name, little girl?" asked Vigor. "L-Luna." she said. "Hmm. Luna." said Vigor. "Leave my daddy alone." said Luna. "Or what? You can't do anything about it. Your just a puny little girl, who can't do anything." said Vigor as he laughed. He then turns his back on Luna as she looks down before glaring at Vigor with her hands clenched. "Things will be more better, now that your little girl is here to witness your demise and there is NOTHING you can do about it." said Vigor as he held the blades to his throat. "Your right. I can't do anything about it. But she can." said Amoux. Vigor was confused until he was tackled to the ground by a dark gray wolf. It was Luna! She was finally able to turn into a wolf. Vigor was stunned and speechless as Luna jumps on his back not only causing him to drop the Wolf Blades, but also distracting him long enough for Amoux to get on his feet. He then manages to take the blades from Vigor and powers them up before delivering the final blow. "Farewell, Vigor." said Amoux as he throws a slash attack. "NOOO!!!" yelled Vigor as a bright flash erupts around the city. Amoux opens his eyes and sees that Vigor is no more. He then stands to find his daughter. "Luna? Luna!" called out Amoux as he looks for her. She then emerges from the rubble in her normal form. "Luna!" said Amoux as he hugs her tightly. Luna sheds tears as she hugs her father tightly. "I did it, Daddy. I turned into a wolf." said Luna happily. "You did and I'm very proud of you, Luna. Although I told you to stay with your mother, you came all this way to save me and stood up to Vigor." said Amoux as she smiled. They then heard Dire coughing and on his feet. "Dire!" said Amoux as he helps him up. "You alright?" he asked. "I'm fine. Been through worse." said Dire as the three see Kate, Humphrey and the Incredibles celebrate as the army of wolves howl in the air. Dire then looks down on his necklace as Amoux takes notice. "You okay?" he asked. "I'm fine. It's just...I miss my family." said Dire as Amoux held his shoulder. Then Luna heard banging. "Uh, Daddy? Do you hear that?" said Luna as they heard banging on the door. They approached it and as they open it, they see wolves exiting. It was Dire's tribe! He gasped as he sees his tribe. "My tribe!" said Dire as they all greet him. But he was more happy when he sees his wife and daughter. He rushes towards them and hugs them tightly as Amoux and Luna smile at the reunion. "Your alive. But I thought you were dead." said Dire. "No. Vigor captured us and held us prisoner. He wanted you to think were dead so you would do his deeds for him." explained his wife. "I'm just glad your safe." said Dire. "Daddy? Do we have a home?" asked his daughter. Dire then looks at her before Amoux approaches them. "I think I'll be able to help you with that." he said as Dire stood and the two shook hands as they continued to celebrate their victory and the defeat of Vigor. Michael and Violet would then approach Chris. "Chris, thank you so much for helping us save the city once again." said Violet. "Yeah. You leading the army to the city was awesome." said Michael as Chris smiled. "No problem, you guys." he said. Luna then approaches them. "Is that Luna? Oh my gosh! She's grown so much!" said Violet as Luna blushed. "Luna, remember when I told you about these two?" asked Chris. "Oh yeah! So that's Violet, the nice and pretty one and that is Michael, the angry one?" said Luna as Michael stammered. "Hey! I'm not always angry! Chris what did you tell her?" said Michael as Chris and Violet laughed. "Relax, she's just messing with you. She actually thinks your a cool guy." said Chris. "Oh. Well thanks for that." said Michael. "Well we better head back. Carla's wondering where Luna is." said Chris as Michael and Violet hugged Chris. "We're really gonna miss you guys." said Violet. "Well, you are welcome to visit us no matter what. After all, you guys are a part of my tribe." said Chris as they smiled once more and gave each other one more hug. Chris then turns into a wolf as Luna too turns into a wolf and the two run into the forest. Soon, the tribe would return home as the heroes and people of Municiberg thank them for their help and began rebuilding the city. The Screenslaver and the prisoners were taken back to prison. Chris and Luna returned home, where Carla awaited them. "Chris! Luna!" she said as she hugs them tightly. "Luna! Where have you been? You had me worried, young lady! You could've gotten hurt!" said Carla. "Well, sweetie, it was worth it. You should've seen her. She turned into a wolf and took Vigor down." said Chris as Carla gasped. "Really?" asked Carla. Luna nodded as Carla hugs her. "And we have another tribe to add to the family." said Chris as Dire and his tribe were welcomed by them. "Thank you, Amoux. For everything." said Dire as he smiled. "Welcome to the Sanctuary, old friend. Your new home." said Amoux as they see the beautiful valley with wolves living in peace once more. Dire's tribe is now part of the Sanctuary and Luna finally has the ability to change into a wolf like her parents. *Later at night* Chris and Carla approach Luna. "Come on, Luna. Lets go for a run." said Chris as they turned into wolves and sprinted across the hills as they were having fun. They soon stopped at the cliff, where the moon and full and bright. They then howl towards it as the others joined them, looking towards the beautiful sky and once again, the tribe was at peace for now.

(Author's Note: One of the best epic music I've heard and to be honest...it's sounds like an end credit song. And as per usual, I DO NOT own this song. It belongs to the rightful owner of this song!)

Although Vigor is gone for good, Amoux and the tribes would continue to defend their home from any threats and as for the Mythic Wolf Blades, they are in Amoux's possession to ensure that no one would use it for destruction and only to use it to protect the innocent.
