The events of the previous night weighed heavily on all of them, even as they sat together in the same hideout, poring over the recordings. The sound of Seito's whispers echoed in their minds, but it was the knowledge of what they had uncovered that left an unsettling calm in the room.

Ishikawa felt the tension in his chest grow heavier. The truth was in their hands, but it was more fragile than any of them had anticipated. The university, the piano, the twisted experiments—it was all part of a grander scheme that none of them had fully comprehended until now. Yet, as they sat in silence, Ishikawa could feel the weight of unfinished business lingering in the air.

Seito's presence had been a sign, but what followed would test them all.

Takumi was the first to break the silence, his voice gruff and tense. "We have to take this to the public. It's the only way to stop them from covering this up."

Mai glanced at the recording, the distorted echoes of the piano still playing faintly on the laptop. Her brows furrowed. "They'll come after us. We know what they're capable of."

Seiichi nodded in agreement, his fingers tapping nervously against the table. "They won't stop until they've erased everything—us, the recordings, even the memory of Seito. If we release this, we have to be ready for war."

Ishikawa, though, wasn't so sure. War? What kind of war were they fighting? This wasn't just about exposing corruption anymore. It had become something deeper, something more personal. Seito had entrusted them with his story, and in a way, Ishikawa felt it was his duty to bring it to a peaceful conclusion. He didn't want to destroy the university—he wanted to redeem it.

"We need a plan," Ishikawa said quietly, his voice breaking the spell of silence. "If we're going to release this, we can't just upload it online and hope for the best. We need leverage—something that will force them to admit what they've done."

"And how do we do that?" Takumi asked, leaning back in his chair with a scowl. "They hold all the cards."

"I don't think they do," Mai interjected, her voice calm but resolute. "We have the truth. And once the truth is out, it will spread like wildfire."

Ishikawa listened, but his mind was elsewhere. His thoughts drifted back to the piano, to the eerie, haunted melodies that had resonated through the room. There was something about the music—something that Seito had tried to show them. He remembered the moment when Seito had looked at him, that fleeting sense of understanding that had passed between them.

The piano wasn't just the key to the curse—it was the heart of it. And if they could uncover its true purpose, perhaps they could end it once and for all.

"Ishikawa?" Mai's voice brought him back to reality.

He blinked, meeting her gaze. "We need to go back to the music building."

Takumi groaned. "Not this again. Haven't we had enough of that place?"

"There's something we're missing," Ishikawa insisted. "Seito—he was trying to tell us something. The piano isn't just cursed. It's connected to everything that's happened. If we can figure out what it is, we might be able to end this."

Mai frowned. "You really think there's more to the piano?"

"I do," Ishikawa said, his voice firm. "Seito didn't appear to us for nothing. He wanted us to understand. I don't know how, but the answer is there. We have to go back."

The return to the music building was not easy. The four of them moved cautiously through the shadows, their footsteps barely making a sound on the old, worn-out floorboards. The air felt colder than before, the weight of their discovery pressing down on them like a heavy fog.
