------------------------------------------------------------ Overview David Marshall Troughton was born on the 27th of August 2002 to Maxine Tanner and Barney Troughton, and one thing was clear is that Barney lived his youth through David in the way of guidance.
David became a big brother. When Daisy was born in 2005, he was her defender, and as they grew up together ------------------------------------------------------------ 2010s
2011: Maxine and Barney told David the news of him becoming a big brother again. He was very happy and used to kiss his mother Maxine's stomach. 2012: he became that big brother when Kelsey was born he vowed to protect her and Daisy and ultimately vowed himself to service in the family.
2016: He and Vanessa saw right through Ricky Dean's plan of ripping Lando and Liv's relationship, and because of this, he was hurt badly.
2017: he gave Ricky as good as he got as he, along with his dad, and hurt Ricky badly getting revenge.
2018: Archie's Canadian brother Otto came back to Masefield Avenue for the first time since 1973, and he was mad at Reggie during a scuffle Otto had precured a knife and tried to stab Reggie, he had moved at the last second and david got stabbed, it wasn't all bad as he met Melanie Stewart, they nurtured there relationship and set a day to be married.
The day came when David got married in 2019 it brought the Troughtons and Tanners together as it felt a long time coming and provided some piece of mind, he also assisted Oliver in bringing down Ben and Emily Hayes.
Throughout the 2020 he became a dad and a glue that kept the family together, he got satisfaction knowing he did what was right, Melanie became pregnant and he knew that he'd protect her no matter what.
He embraced his newly found Cousin Toby and as such really took a shine to him, they bonded so well that come Toby's wedding he was the first choice for best man.
He also went to try out the TT Isle of Man event, it is synonymous with being dangerous but he returned safely, without a hitch, he condemned Andrew upon Julia coming out as Gay.
He gave the incentive for Julia to go to the nightclub to find someone, a potentially bad move paid dividends as Julia met Emma and fell in love
2024: David went up against his uncle Andrew when Julia was killed at the hands of him, he thought it was very unfair that he was walking the streets when he should be imprisoned.
2025: with Andrew roaming around, David has to tread very carefully, for he may have brains and brawn but it may be his undoing, with another baby on the way will David give up all the evidence that he has on Andrew to have a easier life with his wife Melanie.
