------------------------------------------------------------- Personality Vanessa Troughton is the youngest child of Oliver, and Kathy Troughton is known for her adventurous spirit and outgoing personality. As a young woman with a passion for the arts, she has a creative flair and loves to explore new hobbies. Vanessa Elizabeth Troughton was born on April 19th, 2004, to Kathy and Oliver ten days late, which the doctors almost enduced Labour onto Kathy. Despite this, she was born and was the final piece of the jigsaw for Oliver's family.
She was protected by Gabrielle and David. She gained respect for both of them not only as siblings but also as friends.
2010s 2016: she and David had apprehensions about Ricky Dean and why he stuck around Gabrielle but didn't care about her. They uncovered his plan after he split up Lando and Liv.
2017: Ricky hit out and committed assault on her enough to hospitalise her. Oliver went back to his old ways and planned to kill him. He wasn't alone as everyone had him at the top of their lists. They beat him up enough to teach him a lesson and shopped him to the police. Vanessa joined her family in Scarborough as her grandad on Kathy's side Malcolm died of a heart attack, Oliver's grandma Doreen died in December that year.
2018: Roman Troughton, Vanessa's grandad died shortly after his wife he had been suffering from cancer since 2009, and she helped bring the corkboard to life.
2019: she was a bridesmaid at her sibling David's wedding. In mid-2019, she learned that she had another uncle named Hugh and his married wife Izzie. They bonded over her love of murder mystery books, and they started a mini book club. However, the year was marred by her parents going to war against each other over Betty. When her dad came back, her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
2020: she was devastated when her father suffered a stroke she didn't take it well, but again, her father returned and they went to Italy to celebrate however things didn't go to plan as she discovered a lump on her breast, her father gave up his seat to make sure she made it back to England safe and soon enough she got the all-clear and so did her mother and she welcomed her half-brother back in December.
2021: she brought Toby and Betty into the mini book club and attended a cluedo event. She met her boyfriend Ruben Calder at the event and would regularly visit him, and also watched over Gabrielle as she had her appendix removed and also was a bridesmaid for Toby's wedding.
2022: she accepted Julia after she came out as a Lesbian and she brought her boyfriend round to Number 5 as he was accepted by Oliver and Kathy, however Kathy's mother died and she went along to sort out and attend the funeral.
2023: Vanessa was again a bridesmaid, though this time it was her sisters wedding ceremony, and watched the FA CUP match with the family.
2024: Vanessa and Ruben got engaged and decided to head on a staycation holiday to Bolton and watched a league game, and went to the markets. Sadly, her grandmother Julia died after being thrown down the stairs.
2025: Going into the new year, she is gearing up for her wedding and subsequent honeymoon, but the big question is, will her Uncle Andrew spoil it?
