"Are you ready, Ruby?"

"Y-yeah...yeah I think so."

Flower and Ruby knocked on the door of the Freesmart van. They figured, if they'd find Pencil anywhere, it'd be there.

Pencil uneasily woke up just in time to look out the window and see Ruby peeking over the rearview mirror and into the van... great , she thought, are they here to yell at me too?

Knowing she couldn't wait in there forever, Pencil reluctantly opened the door for them.

"Hey, Pencil." Ruby said, keeping her smile on her face, as Pencil squinted at the both, "How are you feeling?"

"Not great." Pencil muttered, "Why? Did Golf Ball send you two?"

"No, we're..." Flower hesitated, still weighing the options... should she do this? She was already here anyways , "...We've left Freesmart as well."

"You have?" Pencil shot up, concerned, before looking at the two.

"What about Golf Ball?" Pencil asked.

"She still has TB, right?" Ruby brought up, "I still wanna be with you."

Pencil gave Flower a look, before admitting, "She's trustworthy...she stuck by you longer than anyone."

Ruby tilted her head in confusion, Flower forgetting that, to her, the time travel stuff was still just a rumor.

"Well...come on in, new Freesmart."

As the two got in, Flower finally decided to address what Ruby was thinking.

"Okay yeah...the time travel thing." She glanced at Pencil, who didn't spout any objections, "It's...true."

Ruby gasped a bit, a look that seemed to say 'I knew it'.

"You can...keep this a secret, right?"

"Oh, of course." Ruby said confidently, her grin returning in full swing again.

"Hey, uh...remind me as well, who was supposed to be eliminated next again?" Pencil asked.

Flower did the math in her head again before realizing...

"I uh...it was you , Pencil."

Pencil blinked at that, unsure if she should respond with relief she was safe or just mull over how, if she did understood Flower's original timeline, Rocky of all people somehow outranked her.

That's when Flower thought as well...since Pencil was safe, that would mean, starting with whoever got the boot...the final six here would be completely different from what it was originally...until the last rejoin at least, should Flower make it that far.

Flower took another look at Pencil...she still wasn't too happy. That fallout with Golf Ball must have did a number on her. She wished she knew what to say to lift her up again.

"Hey, I know what might make you feel better." Ruby suggested, leaning up, to get to the front seat, she had a CD in her hand, "Do you guys like Lemon Demon ?"

"Huh...sure, why not." Pencil shrugged, "I...don't think I heard of them though."

Flower was pretty sure she had heard of that band. If she was correct, they were the ones who made...oh...oh no ...

The radio began to play, Ruby singing along with it.
