Flower's words seemed to accomplish absolutely nothing, other than making Pencil stare at her with her head tilted for a good few seconds like she had just grown a sixth petal. "...you're what? Waitwaitwait, hold up, hang on."

She held her hand out in front of Match, snapping her fingers a few times to get her to come to. She would've been a little more satisfied if she hadn't abruptly jerked out of her thoughts looking like a deer in headlights, though. "Huh- whuh-" She turned her head to see Pencil staring at her, letting out a little sigh as she started to gradually calm down. "Oh... sorry for, like, zoning out there, Pence-Pence, I... I dunno what happened. What's up?"

Pencil let out a laugh of disbelief, shaking her head. "Oh, nothing. Flower just told me she was from the future. Am I in Goiky or Crazytown , Match?"

Flower just sighed at the confused looks she was getting from both girls now, shrugging her shoulders weakly. "You could've just said you don't believe me!"

"Sorry, sorry, it's just..." Pencil returned Flower's shrug, giving her a moderately amused smile. "There's a lot of things that make sense on why someone would get nicer, y'know, like self-care, regret for what you did in the past, loneliness...but time travel? Seriously?"

"Yeah, I get it. Don't believe me all you want, but if one of you goes to the TLC now , you're not gonna make it out of there until the..." Flower hummed as she counted on her fingers, trying to remember how long it had been between her first cut-off from sunlight and precious freedom. "Until whenever the finale is! And the first time this happened, it took two years! And do I really wanna wait two years to let everyone else know what I knew since day one?!"

"Fine, fine, I believe you!" Pencil held her hands up to stop her from continuing any further, taking a deep breath in and out as she held her nonexistent ears. Oh wood, even for how much better of a person she was trying to be right now, Flower's voice still got sooo screechy when she yelled... "I believe you, Flower, even for how... weird that sounds. So... you can see the future, right? What happens?"

Flower sighed. "Well, I can only see my original future, and from what I can tell, there's already a lot of differences here that'll only mess things up later down the line! I'm not even supposed to be with you girls right now, I was the first one out!"

Match just snorted at that, a light smirk on her face. "Yeah, I can, like, totally see why. No offense to you now, I guess, but the old Flower was, like... super mean and bossy." Pencil laughed and nodded in agreement, placing a hand on Flower's shoulder.

"Oh yeah! You probably... remember how much we tried to mess with you, huh? Not just about the time Match sicced that bug on you and stuff, I'm talking what we could've done in..." She then blinked as she got a thought, humming in curiosity. "Oh yeah, since you're probably from... ugh, who knows how long in the future... how are you doing with bugs? Or I guess, how were you doing with them? I'm pretty sure that's your big thing..."

Flower laughed as a wide grin spread across her face, clapping her hands together. "Oh, you're never gonna believe this! The week before I got sent back here, I managed to approach a bug without shaking at all! I still need to get a bit better at holding one though... eurgh, those things just crawl all over you!"

What the three couldn't have known was that a figure was hiding in the bushes nearby, occasionally poking a pair of binoculars out to get a good look at what was going on while they chatted. So... Flower really just said she had time traveled, and as far as she could tell, there weren't any buckets of lead paint around this time...
