Flower couldn't help but wonder something while she was flying through the air - did the Announcer have any sort of crash pad planned as a contingency for when he haphazardly launched them all into the air after completing the challenge?

Craaassh!

She got her answer upon landing - no, no he did not.

Everyone ended up falling in the middle of a long, grassy field, some more lucky than others - Bubble ended up popping on impact with the ground while Pin was stuck upside down with her tip in the dirt. Everyone else grew concerned as they took a good look around. This place didn't feel right. The color of the grass was different, as was the surrounding area. At first this place seemed deserted, until they saw a small platform off in the distance... one that looked very familiar.

"Okay is it just me, or does this place seem...off?" Needle asked, after she got her bearings here.

"No, I feel it too...Is that the elimination area?" Coiny asked, turning to the others to confirm they were seeing what he was.

"It looks a bit like it, but why would it be all the way out here?" Pen asked.

Right before anyone else could question things, they saw a few people they didn't recognize step up. A paintbrush, a pair of salt and pepper shakers, ...Nickel? Flower was about to ask what he was doing there, only to remember that he wouldn't have a clue who she was at this point in time. What was going on here?

"I made cookies." A small smartphone would announce to the ones he gathered around this little area, "But Lightbulb opened his fat lips , so instead, I'm giving you pencils. If you don't get a pencil, you will be eliminated."

Oh, this was another show going on, wasn't it? Weird how both of them were taking place a spring launch away from each other. Everyone glanced at each other confused, wondering just how often this sort of thing occurred.

"What?! No cookies this time?" Nickel asked, frustrated, "Pencils are stupid !"

"OMG! That was like, mean ! Jerk!"

That one remark was enough to cause Pencil to stop watching and call out the coin who said that.

Nickel just turned to look at her, giving her an annoyed glance along with everyone else gathered for this show's elimination... before a boxing glove sprung to life and hit Pencil square in the face, sending her flying backwards.

"Hey, can we get some directions back to BFDI?" Flower would then ask the group, hoping at least one of them would know what she was talking about.

She got the boxing glove treatment too. Gardener, they really were jerks.

Pencil and Flower, both now sporting black eyes from the boxing gloves, limped their way back to the plains they were more familiar with.

"Where have you been?" The Announcer asked, standing beside the elimination ceremony.

"Did you not test the spring before you launched them into the sky?" Golf Ball chastised the speaker.

"And what happened to you two?" Firey asked, gesturing to the two who got punched.

"I really don't wanna talk about it." Pencil said, grumbling about 'stupid, self-entitled nickels' as she gathered around the real elimination area. She also took the time to brush off small bits and pieces of a popped red balloon - either that was just a prop, or she had taken out another contestant in the game during her impromptu flight.
