BFDI All Over: Flower in Bloom

Retaking the Plunge Part 2

Flower stood awkwardly on a hot pink mat, Pin standing to her right on an identical one, red in hue. Both of them were to choose a team. The issue with Flower is...none of them really liked her, so this was gonna be a tough decision. Ice Cube was out...alongside the handful she kicked out to win the first challenge, so that left, hm...

"Pencil!" She finally decided. The alliance was an easy three as any.

Pencil reacted to it with an annoyed look and an eye roll as her alliance members gave her a concerned look. "Fine by me, I guess."

"Leafy! We still have the alliance, right?" Pin asked, offering a spot on her team that the leaf quickly took.

"You know it," Leafy responded, the two high-fiving each other.

"Speaking of..." Pencil gave Flower a glare.

"Yeah, yeah," she said, "we pick Match." Flower now went from one person glaring at her on the mat to two, though she supposed she could probably deal with that.

"Who do we pick now?" Pin asked her new partner, giving her the leadway.

"Hmm, Icey!" Leafy called out "Come on down! You can be our ally!"

"Thank you for picking me." Icey grinned. "Pencil wouldn't let me be in her alliance!"

The next three were a bit easier for the two team leaders. Bubble was picked to stay with her alliance, Pin picked out Teardrop, Match insisted on picking Firey, then Needle got the pick for the other team.

"Anyone else you want?" Flower asked.

"Pen?" Pencil asked.

"Sounds good" she said, letting him onto the mat and feeling a bit stunned that even he was giving her the eye...guess that was gonna be the trend for this team, she supposed.

"How about Snowball?' Needle offered excitedly.

"Oooh, they're in love!" Blocky commented, in the most obnoxious way possible.

"No, Blocky!" she retorted. "I like Coiny more!"

That was enough to cause a few people to gasp. Flower just tried to ignore them as she looked at the remaining contestants open to be picked. Coiny was out, for no other reason than Firey wouldn't forgive her if she made that decision. Blocky would just make things more difficult, especially with Bubble on her team. Rocky was a 'no' for obvious reasons, even if he could still talk for now. Golf Ball... hm...

"We pick Golf Ball! "Flower announced, getting more looks from her team. As she expected, since she wasn't super popular at this point either. "B-because she's really smart!'

"Ha! Someone acknowledged it!" A cocky grin appeared on the golf ball's face as she approached her new team...before melting off her face as she turned to Flower. "This does not make us friends, though!'

She should have known that'd be too easy.

"Then we should pick Tennis Ball. He's smart too!" Pin decided.

Golf Ball frowned a bit at that but said nothing.

Flower took another look...she was running out of 'good' options...and at the very back, stood Woody.

"I choose Woody." She decided, getting another wave of confused looks from her team. It was better he be with her than on a team with Snowball, at least.

Woody probably looked more shocked than anyone else on his newfound team. He cautiously stepped in and tried to give Flower a grin...which she actually returned. At least he wasn't glaring daggers at her.
