"Where did Leafy go?" Pencil asked, having taken a brief walk around. Nobody had seen her since the hot tub fried her last night.

"I, uh..." Flower started to sweat, unsure if she should reveal what she thought was happening. "I'm sure she's... around here somewhere! W-we'll probably see her once Cake at Stake rolls around."

"Okay then." Pencil shrugged, feeling a bit concerned at Flower's nervousness but choosing not to say anything. "We've got about... I dunno, six hours before Cake at Stake, anyways. Anything you gals wanna do?"

"I have some... preparations to make in my lab." GB said rather vaguely. "I don't want to reveal too much here , but... I think I've figured out a bit more on Announcer Prime."

"Well, that's good... I think." Flower muttered. "So... what did you find?"

"All in due time." Golf Ball smirked. "Not to worry, however. If circumstances become too dire, I will make sure to quit the game immediately... like TB did..." She sighed a bit, seeming like she still hadn't gotten over that. "I may even have to report some of what the Announcer has been doing to the proper authorities."

Pencil and Flower glanced nervously at each other. They both agreed... a lot of what Announcer had done so far was... shady, to say the least. Anything to warrant a visit to the police, though? ...debatable. If anyone had to know what was going on, though, it'd probably be Golf Ball.

"Well, what about you, Flower?" Pencil smiled up at her. "Anything going on?"

"Not exactly, why?"

She hummed a bit. "Well, I think the van's getting kinda dusty, so... wanna take one more ride around the block to calm your nerves? You know, in case one of us ends up there ?"

Flower mentally froze up. She kept trying to forget she was on the chopping block again... and Pencil just had to remind her. Just because it'd be the last time she'd have to worry about being stuck there and she was pretty sure she'd only have to spend a month there didn't make it any less nerve-wracking.

"Y-yeah, sure... just to take my mind off it, I guess."

"Great! I'll get the keys."

"I'm tired of waiting, Blocky. Where is my money ?"

"Did you not hear me the five jillion times you asked before? Dude, it's in the-"

"It's been 'in the mail' for over a year now." Announcer Prime responded angrily. He was currently inside what was originally the puzzle room, turned into a simple Earth office. That way, he didn't have to worry about others listening in, and he didn't have to go all the way to space for this sort of thing. "It's funny how I found no actual payment every time I checked, though."

"Well, maybe it got mixed in with your junk mail . How should I know? I don't run the banks or postal services, dude."

"This is incredibly unprofessional of you." Announcer glared at him. "What kind of business owner would handle things this way?"

I'm not a 'business owner', you moron. I'm not even old enough to drive yet! Blocky thought. He wasn't sure if the Announcer still actually believed him or just wanted to mess with him, but he didn't want to give up on the façade... especially when he was pretty sure he'd get in some serious trouble if he was caught.
