Olivia walks through the crowded halls of the testing center, surrounded by her fellow Abnegation students, each moving toward the room where their lives will be decided. The air is thick with anticipation, and Olivia's eyes flicker with worry as she approaches her turn. Her brother, Alex, stands nearby, calm and composed, giving her an encouraging nod. The doors open, and Olivia steps inside.

The sound of a mechanical door closing behind her echoes through the room as Olivia steps forward toward the testing station, her face blank. Olivia watches as a woman, Tori, dressed in Dauntless black with a tattoo of a hawk on her neck, steps forward. She offers Olivia a small smile. Tori sees Olivia looking away from the mirror "What is it with you Abnegation and mirrors?" Olivia turn to Tori as she spoke. "We reject vanity."

"Yeah. I know. Sit down." Olivia hesitates before sitting in the chair, feeling the tension build as she surveys the room. The unfamiliar machinery hums softly in the background. "I'm Tori. I'll be administering your test." Tori types something into a device and then gestures to a table where a vial of clear liquid sits, waiting for Olivia. "You'll be offered a series of choices to test your aptitude for each faction until you get one result. I wouldn't sweat it. 95% get the faction of their origin, and from the looks of you..."

"Well that drink doesn't look sketchy at all." Said a Gryffindor. Whispers of curiosity spread through the hall as Tori mentioned the Abnegation's rejection of vanity. "Rejecting mirrors? That's so strange," a Gryffindor muttered, shaking their head. A few Ravenclaws exchanged thoughtful glances, intrigued by the idea of a test deciding one's future, while Slytherins murmured about the pressure Olivia must be feeling. The entire hall was caught up in the moment as Olivia's fate hung in the balance.

Olivia raises an eyebrow, unsure of how to respond. Tori grins at her. "Bottoms up" she says as she hands her the vial, and Olivia takes it, staring at the liquid before drinking it in one gulp. She braces herself as the world around her fades away.

The room distorts, and suddenly Olivia finds herself standing in a vast white space. Two objects appear in front of her - a knife and a piece of bread. "Choose." A voice is heard from behind her. She turns to see herself in front of talking to her. "What? What will I do with them?" Olivia asks, confused. "Choose. Now. Before it's too late." Olivia hesitates, her hand hovering over the knife, then the bread, indecision wracking her mind. She takes a step forward, still unsure, as the room shifts again.

A large dog materializes in front of her, its fur bristling and teeth bared. It growls menacingly, ready to pounce. Olivia's eyes widen in shock. She hears her voice shout from somewhere around her "Choose!" Olivia slowly raises her hands in defense as the dog lunges. But just as quickly as it appeared, the dog transforms into a small puppy. The sudden shift confuses Olivia. A little girl emerges from behind the puppy, her eyes bright with innocence. "Puppy!" The dog snarls again, its teeth gleaming, but Olivia instinctively moves to protect the girl. The world goes dark.

"What just happened?" The white room disappears, and Olivia finds herself back in the testing chamber. She looks around in confusion, her heart racing as Tori yanks her from the testing chair. "Get up. We're going out the back door before a supervisor comes." Olivia stumbles as Tori pulls her toward the exit, her mind spinning. "But what was my result?" Tori doesn't answer, instead hurrying her through a back hallway, away from the other testers. "Come on!"

As the scene unfolded on the screen, murmurs of confusion rippled through the Great Hall. "What was that all about?" a Hufflepuff asked, eyebrows raised. "A knife or bread? And then the dog turns into a puppy?" A Gryffindor beside him shrugged, equally baffled. "That was just... bizarre," another chimed in, shaking her head. Some Ravenclaws whispered about the psychological nature of the test, but even they seemed thrown off. "It's like some weird dream logic," a Slytherin muttered, frowning. The hall buzzed with chatter, everyone trying to make sense of the strange, unsettling sequence.

They rush outside into the sunlight, the brightness temporarily blinding Olivia. She blinks rapidly, disoriented. "What happened? What was my result?" Tori stops, finally turning to face Olivia. Her expression is unreadable. "You're going to tell your family that the serum made you sick and that I sent you home. All right? "No! But what was my result?" Tori hesitates, clearly reluctant to reveal the truth. She takes a deep breath. "Your results were inconclusive." Olivia stares at Tori in shock "Inconclusive? That's impossible."

"No, it's just extremely rare. Your results show aptitude for Abnegation... and Erudite... and Dauntless." Olivia stares at Tori in disbelief. "They call it 'Divergent.'" The word hangs in the air between them, heavy and unfamiliar. "You can't tell anyone about this. Not even your parents. As far as the world is concerned, you received an Abnegation result because that's what I manually entered."

"What am I supposed to do at the choosing ceremony? This was supposed to tell me what faction to choose. We're supposed to trust the test." Tori's gaze softens slightly. "The test didn't work on you. You have to trust yourself." The weight of those words settles over Olivia as she walks away, her world suddenly more uncertain than ever.

The room buzzed with confusion as the scene unfolded on the screen. "Inconclusive?" a Gryffindor boy muttered, brow furrowed. "That doesn't make any sense." A Hufflepuff nearby shook her head, perplexed. "How can a test like that not give a clear result?" Ravenclaws were already debating the logic behind the test, while others murmured about the strange weight of the word "Divergent." It felt eerie, unsettling even, as Tori warned Olivia to keep it a secret. The idea of not trusting a test that everyone relied on felt foreign, and the students exchanged glances, some even shuddering at the idea of such uncertainty hanging over Olivia's future.
