"The groom to be has finally arrived!" Ben, Luke's brother, exclaims that evening at the rehearsal dinner. The afternoon was practically spent running through the ceremony itself. It had gone smoother than anyone had thought it would.
"Would you guys believe I literally ended up at the wrong hall." He speeds walks in.
"How? You were the one who sent us the location. Leave it to Luke to forget I swear." Mike snorts.
"Now that you're here, can we get started? I don't wanna stay out too late tonight." Sierra says.
"Yeah, of course." Luke is by her side in seconds.
"Alright everyone..." Noel, their wedding planner stands up; grabbing everyone's attention. "The groom is finally here. So we can go ahead and start. We don't plan to keep you here too long. Tomorrow will be a busy day as is. So, I just want to thank you all for being here to recognize a special evening, before a special day. It's great to have all you -family and friends- here from both sides. ..."
"Was Audra able to make it over?" Mike asks, as the planner continues her spiel.
"Yeah, she messaged me about an hour ago and said she did. Mal offered to pick her up from the airport."
"Someone's happy about that." Ashton teases, noticing a hint of smile on the boy's face, making him roll his eyes.
"I'm just glad she made it safely is all." He shrugs, when honestly, he was excited for her being there.
"Step one to Project Casperlum yeah?"
"No." He says, looking at his friend pointedly. "She's only here ...for support."
"K." Mike decides to leave it; but Cal can see the coy looks on his friends faces.
"So the order of speeches are Ashton, Michael, then Calum, correct?" Noel looks for confirmation from the boys; and they agree. "Okay then, we'll practice with you guys first."
"We're eating first though?" Ash asks.
"Yeah, sure."
"Great, because I've been eyeing those baked lobsters for thirty minutes now." He jokes.

"White wedges, or tan sandals?" Audra asks Donna holding the phone between her ear and shoulder. She was busy setting out her attire for the next day. She wasn't surprised that Luke and Sierra went for a beach wedding.
"The tan brings the colors together." Donna says on the other end of the line.
"I thought so too." She rests the shoes near the closet. "It would definitely be easier because of the sand."
"I guess why they're called sandals huh?" The girl laughs at her own joke.
"You know each day I realize just how lame you really are."
"I don't remember dealing with your slander being a part of the contract."
"Consider it a special treat." She looks out of the sliding door at the scenery. She was actually starting to think coming was a good idea. Even if things went awkwardly tomorrow, the girl appreciated the fact that she was able to experience this. "Anyway, I'll talk to you later. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow. Thanks for the fashion advice as always."
