"You told him I may be unhinged?" She swings around to look at the tan boy.
"I may have used a synonym for hysteric." He tries.
"Of all the synonyms." She mumbles. "This is my baby....my only baby for that fact. I get to be a little unhinged. Anyway, Ash if there's anything-"
"Call you. And if I can't reach you call Calum." He says in a monotonously routine voice. "You know, I've babysat my siblings before. I may be a little rusty, but I'm not entirely amateur."
"Was that supposed to be reassuring?"
"Anyway, mate." Cal interjects, shrugging on his jacket, before throwing an arm over her. "We'll see you later. In about....say two hours?"
"Maybe one." The brown girl interjects.
"So, thirty minutes at most then?" Ashton jokes. "Seriously guys, I've got it. Enjoy yourselves."
"We will." Cal says still easing them further outside.
"But I wanna kiss my baby goodbye." She goes to turn around.
"You already did. Besides, she's asleep. You'll only wake her up and she'll get all fussy."
"You two kids have fun." Ashton calls out from their doorway. "And don't worry Audr'....I'll take good care of Nov."
"For your sake man. His friend pats his shoulder.
