Contemplating the earth from the ARK, Maria stand right to Shadow with a smile.

-Do you think one day we can visit Earth together Shadow ?

Shadow crossed his arm and say with a small smile.

Suddenly an alarm and a red light attracted the attention of the two friends.

Doctor Gerald Robotnik came panicked.

-Some people are have introduced themselves in the ARK ! Come with me we have to hide !

They was about to run in the other way but 3 G.U.N soldiers face then with guns.

-No body move!

Shadow's protective side raise up he teleported in front of Gerald and Maria in a protective manner, his fist flinched and his thigh teeth.

One of the solider pull the trigger and the gun bullet but all the way was slow for Shadow, he successed, one by one to put them away from them.

After that, he teleported and hit the gun solider, he took the gun from one solider and pull the trigger but a sweet voice stop him.

-Shadow no !

He turn his head,still the gun pointed one him, to Maria.

-But..-

-Put the gun down.

-You have to hide you two, go ! Gerald said.

Shadow reluctantly put it down and then he took Maria in a bridal style and run out of here to hide out from here.

He met in his way others G.U.N soldiers and fastly he successed to put them on floor before taking Maria back in his arms.

Maria stood up in a room with Shadow behind her, suddenly the power of Shadow weaken and Maria had to carry him.

She carry him to a capsule and turned around to the noise behind her to see G.U.N's solider standing here.

Shadow, panicked was hitting the glass of the capsule trying to get out of it.

But too late, a shoot was heard and Maria's body fallen of the floor.

-MARIA !!!!

This is the last thing Shadow said before he gone down to Earth..

Present: Shadow pov

All the team Sonic and Dark was in a fight with the doctor Eggman, under his control Mephiles.

-Shadow watch out !

Before I could return Sonic smashed a robot who was making itself toward me.

The blue blur stood next to me and said :

-Hey buddy ? What are you thinking about ? You seem distracted..

I let out a slight growl and give him my back.

-I am fine.

Rouge pov :

Me, Tails and Amy was in the vent walking in a metallic building during Shadow, Knuckles and Shadow was distracting and fighing some Eggman bot.
