Jungkook watches someone he used to know disappears into the street.

Despite that person being all covered up, those eyes reveal who he is...
Eyes that shine beautifully and are unlike any others.

Even after that person walked away like a mere stranger, Jungkook stands still for a whole minute, his face, as cold as the weather—his heart, colder than the weather.

A gust of wind suddenly blows and some snow sprinkle down from the branches above. His pale face leans up to gaze at the stunning scene, so naturally pleasing.

Soon enough, he turns around and heads into YOURS Café.

He goes and sits at the table he usually sits at, which is the table Soobin is currently at.

Seeing the person who just arrived, dishearteningly, Soobin hangs his head down. "You came too late." His voice reveals his disappointment. He tried. Tried to get the two persons to meet.

"Late for what?" Jungkook asks with a grim expression.

Soobin glances up at Jungkook, assessing what kind of mood Jungkook’s in. He seems fine.

And so, cautiously Soobin reveals, "Jimin hyung was here just a while ago."

Jungkook remains silent as his gaze deviates to the outside view, looking into the street. Seems like it's a habit for him now, looking out this window.

Soobin stares at Jungkook, trying to guess his thoughts. Wait—!
"You saw him?!"

It's highly likely! It's totally possible! Jimin didn't leave that long before Jungkook arrived.

Meanwhile, Jungkook studies the street of trees covered in snow.

Being embraced, the branches should be full of warmth, but ironically, the branches remain as cold as ever, whether with or without the snow.
Perhaps, even colder due to the embrace of the snow.

Seems like not every embrace is warm.

"Mnn," Jungkook replies to Soobin, but his eyes stay with the street view.

"What?! Really?!... So, what happened?! Why are you in here?! Why aren't you with him?!"

There's no response.

"No way! It can't be! Don't say you let him go just like that?!" Soobin’s eyes widen, finding the situation unbelievable.

"Yeah." Jungkook’s indifferent eyes now stare directly at Soobin.

"What?! Why?!" His voice goes high.

Jungkook feels a buzz from his phone. He pulls it out from his pocket and checks it. Simultaneously, he replies, "What is there to do?"

Soobin’s head pops toward the person across the table. "I don't know!
Anything! Chase after him! Hold on to him! Don't let him leave!" Jungkook can do anything but not do nothing!

"If he wants to run and hide for the rest of his life, let him be." Jungkook shuts his phone and slides it back into his pocket.

Why bother?

"Mr. Jeon, this is unlike you." Soobin never even imagine that this would be Jungkook's reaction to seeing Jimin again.

Years ago, when Jimin disappeared, Jungkook continued to come to their company and sat here for lunch every day. After 2 years, he started to come here twice a week, then twice a month, now he only comes here once a month.

Soobin and Yuna witnessed a broken-hearted man yearning for the one he lost. On most days, if Jungkook allowed, they tried to sit with him, hoping it'll ease some sadness for him. But it didn't seem to help much.
