It's nearly noon, and the house is awfully quiet. Madam Moon wanders around the first floor, searching for her grandson who should be running around here somewhere.
She strolls into the dining room and sees a lovely trio at the dining table, having a meal. Odd, but what a wonderful, peaceful scene?
"May I join?" she asks with a smile.
Jimin looks up at the owner of that tender voice. "Yes, please," he answers.
The elder lady pulls a chair and takes a seat. A maidservant promptly sets a plate, bowl, and eating utensils in front of her.
"Hi Halmeoni!" Minkook greets with a mouthful and oily lips.
"Hello sweetheart." Madam Moon beams warmly at the little boy sitting across from her. She then turns to her son who is sitting at the head of the table.
"When did you come home?" she asks him.
"Yesterday," Jungkook answers nonchalantly as he munches on with bulging cheeks.
"You must be busy. You didn't even come greet your mother."
"I was indeed very busy."
From those words, a small, shy, secretive smile appears on Jimin's face.
"Jimin," Madam Moon calls out of the blue.
"Y-Yeah?" he replies hastily, shifting his gaze to her.
"A few days ago, you mentioned going to Japan, when are you leaving?"
"About that." Jimin takes a quick glance at Jungkook, whose gaze is down on the plate. "Um. Probably within these next few days," he says.
"Good. If you need anything, tell me."
"Thank you." Jimin smiles gratefully. His eyes then shift to Jungkook again, longing for his gaze. However, that person refuses to give him any glance.
Since early morning, everything has been fairly... quiet. Seems like Jungkook meant it when he said they'll take it slow.
No matter how quiet or slow, Jimin won't complain. Not even one bit. Jungkook is speaking and responding in a neutral manner. He's not avoiding, and he's not speaking with his temper, so it's wonderful.
The only not-so-great thing with the current situation is that Jimin can't tell what Jungkook is thinking, especially regarding his return to Japan.

Later that evening in Minkook's room...
Hearing a mixture of grunts and cheers, Jimin hurries out of the bathroom. The worry in his heart eases when he sees that it's just Jungkook and Minkook wrestling on the bed.
Jungkook is supposed to be on call with Assistant Kim in his room since he didn't go to work. Seems like he's all done.
As the wrestling intensifies, a complaint emerges. "Papa, you're always so mean!" Minkook crawls and clings on top of his father's back.
"Why is Papa mean?" Jimin asks with a smile, stepping toward the pair.
Like a giant, Jungkook rises up and swings the little Minkook down onto the bed. The little one bounces on the yellow blanket and laughs foolishly from the playful force.
"Papa won't let me kiss him again!" Minkook chuckles loudly.
"Yeah, I won't," Jungkook retorts before sitting back down on the bed. "How dare you say you like Jimin more than me?"
Minkook crawls to his father again, folding his arms around his father's neck from behind, trying to kiss him. "Minkook love you both the same! Muahh. Muahh! Papa, I like you more when we bubble, but I like Jiminie more when I sleep."
