After breakfast, everyone split up a little as Lucifer walked towards their room to grab some papers and show Charlie the ropes, nothing too extreme but the basics for emergencies used, as she was right. Though he was immortal he didn't plan to rule hell forever, he planned to pass it down to Charlie one day, but many many years down the road so she could live and enjoy her life first. He opened the door to the room and saw Al sitting on the bed on his phone.
"Yes dear, 2 rooms for the weekend and reservations for the nicest seats at the restaurant beside it...put it on my tab, ill settle it when I pick up my order. Alright thanks Rosie" he said before ending the call.
"What was that for?" Lucifer asked while walking to his desk and looking through the papers and grabbing some while leaving others.
"Just booking a hotel for our daughter and soon to be daughter in law"
"Oh, that's nice," he said before grabbing a handful and making for the door before stopping as the words finally settled in.
"Wait... did you say soon to be..."
"I did,"
"Am I thinking correctly or going on a different branch here?" he asked a little quickly.
"You are... but you'll have to wait and see, we can't go spoiling it for Charlie now,"
"Yes yes...your right, don't want to ruin her surprise...and it's nice that you're covering it for them," he said as he walked over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips
"Mmmm...is that all I get?" He asked with a hum as his hands found their way to lucifers slim waist and pulled him closer.
"For now my deer yes..or I am never leaving this room and be able to teach Charlie like I promised her, but we can most definitely pick up tonight" he said as Al leaned in a little closer
"I'll hold you to that" He said as he gave lucifer another kiss before watching him leave the room, deciding to inform Vaggie he got up and followed his husband down the hall, it was still a bit of a weird concept for him, he never planned on settling down and yet here he was, married. Technically, has a daughter and about to have a daughter in law. And adding more to the family was definitely something that he had on his list to do. Walking into the lobby, lucifer went over to Charlie while Alastor gave Vaggie a motion to join him. Waiting for Charlie to be talking with her dad, she made her way over to Al.
"Your hotel is booked and all ready to go, I have it under your name, it is set for 2 weeks so she can do the meeting with her father first" He informed her as she smiled at him.
"That's perfect...thank you Alastor"
"No need to thank me,"
"And you won't let me pay you?"
"You can pay me by putting a ring on my daughter and making that smile of hers grow brighter,"
"I can agree to those terms," she said with a smile as she moved to her room now to start making plans of her own.
Lucifer sat on the couch with the papers laid out on the coffee table in front of them, showing her different papers and letters.
"So see this one here is from Stolas, letting me know that he is accepting the invite to the sins meeting next week."
"And what do you typically cover in the meetings?"
"Good question, so really we just discuss any issues that we are facing or if there's no problem we just catch up with others or skip the meeting all together"
"And are there ever emergency meetings?"
"They are rare, but there has been a couple. Granted, in the past 1,000 years, we've only had 3.. and 1 was when the extermination started, " he said as he looked up at Charlie.
"Which reminds me, bringing you to the meeting, you get to share the news that the extermination's are over with now," he said with a smile as she nodded at this.
They spent the next hour going over papers and meetings and stuff, Charlie paying attention and actually listening and learning, taking in everything she could with it all.
"How do you do all this and still make time?"
"It's tricky, you have to really manage the work load and at times, it doesn't work out and you miss out on stuff, but at the same time your the ruler of hell, no one can tell you what to do so if it's a big enough thing that you can't miss, then take care of what needs to be done"
Charlie nodded at this again as they went farther into teaching. Over the next week, lucifer involved her in more of his work, even letting Charlie herself handle some of the paperwork entirely, but today was the meeting of the sins and as promised he was taking her with him, flying across hell Charlie was able to see things froms different view as she felt her father holding her tightly. She looked down at all the sights, and it was a bit more colorful than she thought it would be. Lucifer smiled as he felt his daughter put her hands out like wings and "flying" through the air, he hasn't took her on a flight since she was just a little kid, he internally sighed some at this but pushed it to the back of his mind for now as he seen the look of aww across his daughters face, that alone was worth every hardship he has ever endured.
"You trust me, char?"
"Of course I do?"
"Good," he said with a smile before letting go of Charlie. At first, her breath caught, and she couldn't even scream before she looked across and saw her dad free falling beside her, his eyes closed and face relaxed as he let the wind move his body.
"Relax Char..you know I'd never put you in harm..feel the wind...the air rippling across your body, just relax and let the senses do the work" after taking a second to process what he said, she nodded and slowly relaxed the best she could as they both continued the free fall, she felt a hand push on her shoulder and her body start to spiral, hearing her father laugh some made her giggle a bit, she loved hearing his laugh. After a bit more, she felt him move behind her and grab her before unfolding his 6 wings, and with a few gentle flaps, they were already climbing back in altitude.
"That... was terrifying but also fun at the same time," she said with a giggle.
"There's a lot more to show you, but another day, let's get to the meeting."
He said before they got back on course heading that way. Landing outside of a huge building that lucifer had...granted everything in hell was his, it's his world. Landing gracefully on the ground, he grabbed her hand and led her inside, where an Imp resided at a desk.
"Hey Kyle,"
"Ah lucifer, good to see you again," he said before he caught sight of Charlie.
"Oh..is this the infamous Charlie morningstar I've heard so much about," He said with a smile, and Charlie nodded, holding out her hand.
"That's me," Kyle smiled as he shook her hand
"The others are already inside, little late this time,"
"Kings never late. Everyone else is just early," he called out as they walked inside the meeting room. The first to notice was stolas who took his hat off and offered a bow a bit.
"My king"
"Stolas... how many times have I told you, no need to formality here," lucifer said with a smile.
"I know.. Force of habit though...and who's this lovely lady?"
"Stolas, like to introduce you to my daughter Charlie." she held out her hand, and he gently shook it.
"Well, it's my pleasure to meet you!" He said with a smile.
"I'm sure you and Octavia would get along lovely!" He said, clapping his hands together lightly. They moved around the room getting introduced to everyone and the meeting began, there wasn't much to really discuss but Charlie did get to spread the news of the extermination's being canceled, which did creat a lot of cheering and clapping. Overall, it was a rather calm meeting compared to some others
"Alright. Same time next month, thank you, everyone, for joining once again!" Lucifer said before him and charlie walked back outside. Flying back into the air, they headed to the hotel.
"We need to go flying more dad...that was a lot of fun"
"You just let me know when, I'm always up for spending time with my little girl" he said as he hugged her.
"Are you ever gonna stop calling me little...I'm taller then you!" She said with a small giggle.
"When you have kids of your own..you'll understand appleseed"

(I'm sorry for skipping the meeting, but I've still not really watched helluva, just a episode and clips here and there. I will be coming back and rewriting this one later on after watching them and knowing the characters)
