Quality time

Sorry for the long wait on the chapter. Was busy with some stuff.

Alastor sat at the desk in his and lucifers room as he stared at the device in front of him.
"Turn on....abracadabra...open....open says me... Simon says...this is stupid," he muttered out as he looked at the still black screen in front of him.
He had been trying for the past 10 minutes to work this silly device, and he hasn't even managed to make it turn on yet, oh how he is regretting blurting out a yes, stupid lucifer tricking him into it, he would get his revenge later.
"Luci dear...this thing is broken," he said with a sigh, lucifer looked up from his paperwork, so into it he didn't even hear Alastor's hilarious attempts to work it.
"Did you try turning it on?" He asked, starting with the basic solutions.
"I did...it's not responding....turn on.......see..this stupid thing is broken!" Hearing giggling and looking over at lucifer who was trying desperately to not burst out laughing.
"And just what is so funny...." He said as the annoyance was building inside him. He watched as lucifer reached over and hit the button on the side and held it for a little before the screen flicked on.
"Maybe try hitting the power button, babe," he said as he felt a hand move to his neck and start to squeeze.
"Could just strangle you... they'd never know,"
"Good thing I'm into that sorta thing,"
Alastor looked at him before smiling and letting go
"Such a weirdo," he said as lucifer wagged a finger at him.
"You know you love me," he said in a sly tone.
"Do I know that?" Alastor asked with tilting his head before smiling and leaning over and kissing him.
"Yes....yes, I do,"
They both smiled at one another before leaning in and kissing each other again.
"Now then mister tech wiz...you said you'd help me through this thing so show me what to do" lucifer smiled and nodded as he started to show him how to work it, running him through the buttons and how to take pictures, send text and everything.
"Alright now you try it" he said as he held it out, Alastor grabbed the phone and clicked on the camera button and looked at the screen now to see himself and lucifer, it made his smile grow and he bumped the kings shoulder, understanding the assignment he leaned his head over onto Al's shoulder and watched as he clicked it and took the picture.
"That is a lovely picture, dear," he said as he felt Alastor put an arm around his shoulder.
"No... how does one make it a background?" He asked, lucifer smiled at the idea and that he was actually asking questions and trying to learn some stuff, spending the next hour on showing him how to work things they decided to head down to the lobby. Upon arriving, they saw Charlie and vaggie sitting on the couch when an idea hit Alastor, and he smirked and poked the kings shoulder
"Watch this," he said with a devious smirk before typing in a text to a number and hitting send. Lucifer looked up to see Alastor counting down from 3 on his hand. When his hand hit 1, his new phone dinged, and then he lowered his finger.
"Wait........Alastor!" Charlie's voice was heard as she spun around on the couch.
"Yes, my dear charlie?" He asked, playing it off like nothing had changed.
"You got a phone!?" She asked as vaggie now looked at well
"Why yes dear charlie.. your father insisted that I get one to stay in touch with everyone," he said as he held it up to show her his new phone now.
"I've been trying forever to get him a phone... how'd you manage it, dad!?" She asked while lucifer just shrugged.
"I asked if he was interested in it and showed him the box, and before I even said what it was, he said yes.. gave him the box, and that was it."
Vaggie looked over at Alastor, who had a look of annoyance on his face and put a hand up to her mouth, trying to cover her growing smile as she laughed some. She knew exactly what had happened, charlie looked at her a little confused, but Vaggie waved it off for now.
Moving into the kitchen to cook some dinner. Alastor left Lucifer and charlie as Vaggie got up and followed him.
"So...tricked you did he," she said with a small laugh.
"He asked if I would be interested and showed me a small red box...how was I supposed to know it was just a stupid phone!" He said with an annoyed groan but a small smile as he saw how much Vaggie was enjoying it. He was really growing to like other staff here.
"So when are you thinking of doing it?" She asked him now as she watched him move around the kitchen, getting a pot and ingredients.
"Im...thinking about it still..I'm not sure how to do it..a restaurant seems to..public and to common...I wanna do it in private" he said as he thought about it some white preparing some food. Deciding to try a lemon pot pie instead of a jambalaya this time.
"Have... you thought of trying it out on a walk, maybe go on a picnic?" She said, thinking about it some, and as he thought about it, he soon found himself smiling at it.
"That's actually not a bad idea," he said as he turned towards vaggie.
"I think I will do that one,"
He went to cooking dinner for everyone, and it seemed to turn put pretty good. His jambalaya was better, but he figured that everyone would get tired of eating the same thing over and over again.

A few days later, Alastor knocked on lucifers door. Why he knocked he wasn't really sure.. they practically lived in the same room anymore, it was rare for him to use his own bed anymore. He was brought from his thoughts by a hand waving in front of his face, focusing again he looked at the king with a smile.
"Good evening luci...I was wondering if you'd like to join me on a picnic today?" He said with a smile, lucifer looked at him for a moment before nodding.
"Sure, I've finished all my paperwork for the day, just let me grab my coat." he walked back into the room and grabbed it before walking back out.
"Have a place in mind?"
"I was thinking of going for a walk in the woods.. I know a spot that's secluded and has a little pond there. Great spot to go..it's about an hours walk away. " Lucifer seemed pleased at this and nodded his head as they left the hotel. Walking along the sidewalk, they held an idle conversation talking about random things, some new recipes to try in the kitchen. Duck designs he was building, paperwork, and everything going on in hell.
They reached the spot, and lucifer smiled at he and looked around. There was the fresh smell of the pine trees, the pond was a magnificent blue with clear water. Reaching down, he felt the soft grass as it waved around in the gentle breeze.
"This place is beautiful!" He said with a smile. This wasn't anything like the rest of hell. It was quiet and peaceful, for the first time he's seen his creation be at peace.
"I've never seen hell this quiet...so peaceful," he said softly as a small tear moved down his cheek.
"Luci dear... everything ok?" Alastor asked as he looked over at him seeing his emotional face.
"I built this place with the intent of letting people be free...have their own will to choose and make their life, and look at it. Nothing but pain and suffering, violence and destruction.. but here, it's quiet. Peaceful..breathtaking. it's what I've always wanted to see, " he said as he felt a pair of arms around him and a head on top of his.
"You give someone an inch of freedom, and they take all they can get, don't listen to rules because they know everything. But my dear, I'm glad you made this, a place for sinners who done wrong. Do you know why?" He asked as he let go, and lucifer turned around to look at him before shaking his head. Alastor reached up and poked his nose with a smile.
"Because it let me meet you, lucifer dear, you complete me. My life before meeting you was cold and empty, I had no friends and lived to torment and torture other sinners...then you appeared, you light up the darkness in my world and melted my cold heart, and I love you with all I have luci" He said sincerely before getting down on one knee and watching lucifer gasp and bring his hands up to his mouth, Alastor brought out a red box and opened it revealing the ring. He opened his mouth to ask but was nearly pushed over as a lucifer tackled him into a hug.
"Yes! And a million times, yes!" He shouted out, making alastors heart melt as he hugged back tightly before kissing the king deeply.
"Im so glad you agreed, dear," he said with a huge smile before laughing some at this.
"See how I didn't trick you into this," he said with a laugh before lucifer looked at him, confused before thinking a moment and laughing as well.
"Is that why you blurted out a yes!?" He said before laughing some more as Alastor nodded.
"I was so happy about that, and then you tricked me... but don't worry my dear..payback will be coming your way" he said with a sly smirk.
"what do you mean by that?" He asked curiously only to receive a hand on his ass making him blush.
"You ever been fucked so hard you lost the ability to walk?" The results worked as the king blushed hard and shook his head.
"Been turned on so much by your lover you want to do nothing more then pound him until he's begging for mercy, just to ignore his pleas" he said as his voice dropped into its low tone with made lucifer shiver in anticipation.
"Are you going to fuck me or what...I need you inside me"
"Mmmm....no" Alastor said with a smirk as the king looked at him now.
"No..b..but you said..you'd fuck me like never before" lucifer muttered out now.
"Mmmm...it's a bitch isn't it, wanting it and not getting it" he said as his smirk grew larger. Taking a moment he thought back to the date night, talking dirty to Alastor and then passing out drunk on the bed. He crossed his arms now and looked away still blushing some.
"It was one time" he mumbled out
"Karma's a bitch"

They both enjoyed the food as they made some plans, cuddled up in the grass down near the pond. After Alastor had teased lucifer they soon was laughing about. They made their way back to the hotel with plans on returning back to the pond soon as lucifer loved it there.
Alastor was happy with how it had worked out, lucifer put him in the perfect spot to pop the question, he looked down at the kings hand where he spotted the silver band catching the sunlight. Things couldn't be better for the old radio demon. He was was engaged to the love of his life, having friends and actually being truly happy, it was all perfect
