Chapter 7

"Eonnie, she is not answering the calls." Yerin said to Yunhee. They were full ready for their concert in their costumes whereas Moon was not even there. The members, the staffs and managers were trying to contact her but she was not picking up the calls. They were in no positions to cancel the concert after Moon's scandal.

Though agency managed that for now, but they couldn't really handle if the situation get worse. Moreover it would affect others career and maybe cause their disbandment.

"She was not answering calls at first. Now her phone is switched off. Oh no!" Soul said. It was the time when she got really concerned.

"Is she alright? Is she in danger?" Bora asked concerned.

"Of course, she is alright. What kind of question is that, Bora?" Haejin though scolded her but was really concerned too.

Yunhee was not talking. She suddenly got up and said, "We can't wait anymore. We need to perform with her." she paused and said, "or without her."

Even though, Yunhee sounded rude but it was reality. Even though they were together for only 2 and half years but Twilight was made of seven members and even without one member, Twilight was nothing.

Madam Shin butted in. "Yunhee is right. You guys perform tonight. I and others will try to contact and find Moon." she said and all nod.

They went to stage while Madam Shin along with other staffs was trying to contact her but they weren't able to succeed. Madame Shin finally contacted her mother and told everything to her mother and asked if she knew anything.

Lee Chae-yeon started crying listening all these stuff while blaming herself for these.

"Ya, eomma-nim, please don't cry. We will find her soon. I am sure nothing bad happened. " Madame Shin consoled.

Moon's uncle, Lee Do Hyun called his son to find about his niece but Beom Seok was not picking up the call too. Lee Chae-yeon was on call with Madame Shin the whole time while glaring at her husband.

Back to Moon,

Moon was sitting by the operation theatre door in the hospital. The car crashing sound, the ambulance sound, taking nana to the operation theatre, OT light turning on, so many things were happening around her but her mind was in a daze. She stared at her hands covered with nana's blood. Everything around her seemed fading. Memories were hovering and replaying in her mind. How she met nana the first time, how they got closer and became a family to each other and how her accident happened.

The road was not crowdy or busy. It was a hit and run case which was on purpose. It was for Moon only. Whoever did it wanted to kill Moon, wanted to hurt Moon, not nana. But her nana sacrificed her life for her. It was killing her from inside. Her nana didn't even think about herself and sacrificed herself.

On the accident spot, Moon's half broken phone turned on showing 'uncle lee calling'. Nana came outside that time to return the phone which was on charger. The phone was vibrating constantly.

"The ring is going. But she is not answering." Do Hyun said and kept calling continuously.

At other side, Twilight finished the concert early as they were not really able to perform with their state of minds and to cover up for Moon too. Although fans were quite supportive but Moon had huge amount of fans despite having so much negative PR. They could understand the situation really well that time.

They returned to back stage after bidding farewell to lits (fans). They were all concerned and anxious and asked Madame Shin the very first minute about Moon but the answer disappoint them.

At Moon's parents house,

Do Hyun was continuously calling but no one was answering the call. They were all anxious. Lee Chae-yeon kept crying while Lee Min ah, Beom Seok's mother was consoling her sister in law.

"The famous girl group Twilight's member, Lee Miyeon whose stage name is Moon, was previously accused of bullying and murderer, confessed her sins to Busan crime branch." The reporter read the news.

Moon's parents, uncle and aunt's whole focus on the TV only. They were shocked. A pure fear and concern for her daughter could be seen in Chae-yeon's expressions.

At other side,

Everyone in the back stage were shocked to see the news. They couldn't utter a word. Their eyes were glued on the TV screen.

"Lee Miyeon aka Moon was arrested from Busan City Hospital. She, herself called the crime branch and surrendered by herself as per source." The reporter said. "Rest in the video footage."

Four to five police were taking Moon away from the hospital to police station. Moon's body and clothes were covered with blood, her eyes were red, hair was messy, her eyes had no emotions as if she was dead or her soul was dead. Beom Seok was continuously calling out Moon's name and trying to stop police from taking her away. He was crying and begging Moon for something.

An officer was taking her away while others were stopping him. But no one could possibly stop a brother from protecting his sister. Beom Seok was continuously calling out Moon's name. She was wearing handcuffs, the officer was dragging her by the handcuff. Beom Seok kept yelling, screaming and shouting for his noona. Moon stopped and turned around this time and police also let Beom Seok to be with his sister for a last time. Moon whispered something in his ears and turned around to leave. She got into the police van and the van started to leave. But this time, Beom Seok didn't fight to stop them. He let them taking her away. But he burst into tears.

The Twilight group, managers, company, staffs all were worried about this especially Soul.

"You said Moon and Soul are always together in everything but you just cheated. God! Wtf? What did she do, Haejin?" Soul went crazy, mad, hurt, frustrated.

Haejin hugged Soul as she knew that she was hurt. Soul couldn't but cry while the rest couldn't even believe what just happened.

The staffs decided to drop the other 6 drop to their hotel room as they needed rest while they promised them not to let Moon suffer in this case and do whatever in order to get her out with a clean image.

Chae-yeon was crying for her daughter and telling Do Hyun to do anything to save her daughter. Do Hyun nod and went for police station to try for a bail. Chae-yeon looked at her husband, "Are you happy now? Are you feeling happy now? Do you NOT see she is OUR daughter?"

First time in the whole 24 years of Moon's life, her mother yelled at her father and stood for her. But this scene was not for her to witness. Chae-yeon was crying and continuously hitting her husband's chest crying yelling at him that she just wanted her daughter.

Byeong-Ho was definitely a man whose heart was made of steel. But the very first time, watching her daughter in that situation, he felt a certain emotion. It was heartbreaking scenario for him too. He let her hit him as he knew he never did anything for which he could be said as a good husband or a good father. He could be said as a good businessman, a good dealer, but definitely not a husband or father. For the first time, he felt for something other than his work and reputation.
