Chapter 39

They went inside and everyone sat down for dinner. Min Soo-ah, Yoongi's mother served a dish in front of Miyeon. Miyeon was surprised as it was Kimchi chicken fried rice with sour tamarind sauce.

"Omo, who made this?" Miyeon asked being surprised.

Geum-jae's wife raised her hand with a smile. Miyeon smiled back at her and tasted it dipping with sour tamarind sauce.

"Is it....good?" Geum-jae's wife, Ha-rin asked nervously.

Miyeon fed her. It was good. Ha-rin also felt good eating it for the first time. Yoongi also tasted it. Ha-rin then served all of them.

"It's really good as a first timer. The first time, I made...no no tried to make it, man, it was a disaster." Miyeon said eating some more.

"I remember appa sent me to Seoul to study business. But me being me wanted to carry Sun-hi's dream. So, I needed to learn what idols do, you know what I mean. That time, I couldn’t let appa know that I stopped studying and doing something else. But I also was really craving for this dish. So Beomie's mother sent it for me. Of course, first, I tried to cook it bit failed miserably." She said and chuckled.

"Ahjumma said to me that she made it. But I knew it was eomma." she shook her head thinking about that.

"I think whether memory is good or bad, it always carries a nostalgic vibe. Though sometimes when I think of the past and the fact that I didn’t support my child when he needed me the most or when he chose a career for himself, it really makes me feel guilty." Yoongi's father confessed.

"Ya...appaa. Why are we talking about it now?" Yoongi spoke up.

Min Soo-ah kept a hand on his husband’s hand and caressed. "You only said earlier that past is past."

"Yeah, but parents should accept their mistakes sometimes." Yoongi's father spoke up.

"Hyung, stop all these and eat your dinner quietly." Yunhee's father said.

Miyeon thought about her father. Did he regret or feel guilty for whatever happened in the past? Would he be proud of her someday? But the real question was, did she deserve that?

"Eonnie......eonnie. Get up. We are going to seoul back, remember? Get up."

Miyeon felt someone calling her and shaking her body. She somehow opened her eyes and saw Haejin waking her up. She remembered that they were supposed to leave for Seoul after lunch. Haejin went downstairs after waking her up, leaving her to get freshen up.

After freshing up, she went to downstairs and went to dining space. But to her surprise, no was there except her kitty boyfriend. Yoongi's back was facing her. She sneakily went near him and back hugged him tightly.

Suddenly she heard a voice behind her, "Eonnie, why are you hugging my oppa?" Yunhee asked. Yoongi also turned around slightly pushing her and having an unknown expression on his face. Yunhee was looking shocked too.

"Yeah, eonnie. Why are you hugging sunbae-nim?" Aerum also had a shock expression on her face.

Surprisingly, Gyuri came and stood near him. She side hugged him and he hugged hee back. Gyuri gave her a 'Girl, why are you clinging onto my boyfriend?' look.

"But....but are you not married?" Miyeon asked Gyuri.

"Married? Yah....eonnie. Did you hit your head? How is she married? They just started dating yesterday only. Did you forget?" Yerin asked.

Miyeon was shocked. Geum-jae and Ha-rin also came there hearing them.

"What happened?" Ha-rin asked.
