Tainted Heart

Chapter 4

"Right....front...back...left and right. Alright, let's take a break." Moon said as they were practising their new song's choreography for two hours straight. She decided to take a ten minutes break. Dismissing the dance, she grabbed water bottles for herself and as well as for others.

She heard a voice calling Yunhee. She knew whom the voice belonged to. She didn't turn around and gulped a lot of water in one go.

"Oppa..." putting down her bottle, Yunhee ran towards Yoongi.

Bora was admiring them from a distance as she kind of ship them together. Moon was hearing all of that. She turned around and felt a sharp pain in her head and to her, it felt blur everything around her. She didn't know what happened but she felt herself falling down and others rushing towards her being concerned.

Time skips,

It had been sometime since Moon regained her consciousness. Her head was hurting like anything in the world.

"Ya, eonnie. Are you crazy? You didn't eat and have been practising since morning? Yah, you are an human being, you know that right? Yaaa.....I am so angryyy..." Soul rapped in 3x speed and kicked a side of wall being frustrated.

"Eonnie...Seoul is right. We need to take of our health." Yunhee said.

"Mian- " her words cut off by a man's voice who stormed inside in 4x speed. "Yah, Lee Miyeon, why are you not answering my calls?"

"Excuse me, mister. Who are you? Nevermind, I don't want to know. But she is sick. So shut up." Haejin said.

"Sick?" The boy looked at her. "Aniyo..." she tried to deny.

"Ya...eonnie. You just fainted because of not eating and taking care of herself." Soul yelled.

"Yah Lee Miyeon, are you crazy? Should I call your mom? You know what I am calling." The boy said.

"Yahh Lee Beom Seok, I am your elder sister. Give me respect. Where's your honorifications? Say Noona." Moon yelled.

"Noona, I am going to call your mom." Beom Seok said and grabbed his phone to dial. Moon tried to stop but suddenly fell down. He immediately help his older sister but Moon smirked and almost choked, not that hard.

"You wanna call my mom? Call now. Call. Call." she knocked him down. "Yaah...noona. Sorry. Leave me.."

The others were shocked seeing this side of Moon. They knew Moon had a cousin brother but they never met him before.

"Is he the 'craziest shit'? " Yerin asked. Beom Seok looked at Moon and then at Yerin and asked, "Craziest shit?"

Some days ago, they were practising one of their songs when Moon's phone started ringing. As Yerin was resting and her phone was with her, she checked to see who called when on screen, it was showing 'craziest shit'.

"Eonnie...craziest shit called." Yerin said and Aerum laughed. "Who is craziest shit?"

Moon smiled and said, "It's my younger brother, cousin."

Back to present, Moon nervously laughed, "Hehe." Beom Seok glared at her, "Ehhe?"

"On a serious note, eonnie you should take care of yourself. Do you forget what happened earlier?" Haejin said.

10 September, 2022,

Moon was dance practising along with others. They were practising for a long time but still were making mistakes which made Moon frustrated and caused her to yell at them.

"Kang Bora, do it properly. Aish..." Moon scolded.

They were all tired and wanted to have a break. So finally she let them to have one when Yoongi came to search about Yunhee.

"Done practising?" Yoongi asked Yunhee.

"Not yet, oppa. It's break time." Yunhee replied.

"Don't overwork. Let's go and eat." Yoongi said and Yunhee nod but they were stopped by Moon's words.

"We are not done practising yet." Her voice had one more layer of strictness than usual. She basically didn't want them to be together. So she was giving excuses. But in the end, she had to let go. She sighed and let go.

The other five members also joined Yoongi and Yunhee as Yoongi asked them to. "Eonnie, you come too." Yunhee said.

Moon shook her head as no and said, "You guys go ahead. I will join you later."

"Are you sure?" Soul asked.

"Yeah. I need to call someone. I will join later." she said and they left. The truth was she didn't want to go with them. She suddenly realised she was alone in that room and the loneliness was haunting her. She shrugged and put headphones on and started dancing maintaining all the positions. She needed the steps to be perfect.

Meanwhile, the rest of Twilight sat in front of food but as someone from their group was missing, they were not really in the mood to eat without her.

"Eonnie said she will join us later. Where is she?" Soul muttered.

"You meant Moon?" Jungkook asked.

They nod as yes. "I saw her practising dance in the Twilight's studio when I was coming here." He said chewing his food.

They all looked at each other and Yunhee was first one to stand up and rush towards the dance room following by others and Yoongi while Jungkook felt confused but focused on his food only.

They stopped in front of the room and watched her through the glass screen.

Moon was dancing and dancing on. She started to move round and round thinking about the first moment when she saw Yoongi from this close. The moment when she felt her heart feeling his beautiful smile, feeling for him but then she thought about the situation with Yunhee and Yoongi together. Her heart was aching. Twirling round and round, she suddenly screamed in pain as she fell down on the spraining her right ankle which made everyone to be worried for her. But they didn't enter the room immediately.

Holding her ankle, she just let herself lying on the floor and stared at ceiling taking deep breathes. That was time when their respect for her grew by a lot of amount.

But overworking herself cost her not able to attend an international award function let alone perform next week in the award function.

Back to present,

"Yeah yeah fine. Mianhae. I wouldn't do this anymore." Moon apologised.

Beom Seok gestured her something and then Moon said, "You guys go back to work and Yerin, you have a live at weverse today, remember? You promised lits, remember?" Moon reminded her. Lit was the fandom name of Twilight.

"Yeah, I remember." Yerin said and left from there to go on live with the fans while others also returned to their works due to Moon's insistence.

Madam Shin, Twilight's main manager also came to check on her and scolded her a lot.
"Mianhae sim. Mianhae..."
