Chapter 25

Late at night,

Madame Shin arranged bodyguards for Moon to protect her. A man in hoodie and covered face walked through the corridor of that approaching Moon's room with every steps forward. It took him few minutes to unconscious the guards. That man entered the room and approached the bed. He was about to touch her but to his surprise, he didn’t find her in bed. He suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Moon standing with a glass of wine in her hand. She gulped down the wine in one go.

The man raised his hand but Moon caught it swiftly and twisted it pinning him on the floor with her leg.

"Still feisty, I see." The man said with a mock tone.

"You again tried to hurt someone who is close to me, Jeohan." She said and the man chuckled. He flipped over and pinned Moon with his weight.

"I had no intention of hurting that girl. She brought it on herself. But yeah, about Sun-hi, I enjoyed with her. What an young flesh it was!" He said thinking about it. "Poor her, got pregnant and committed suicide. But it was your fault only which she was repaying me. Because of you, I got suspended. My father slapped me because of you. Because of you, I was in jail these 9 years. My family disowned me because of you. You deserve to die but not so soon. I will kill you slowly with lot of pain." Jeohan said slapping her.

"Your father should have slap you in the childhood only." Moon said and immediately got choked for saying it. She started to kick him and throw hands to get out of his grip.

"Honestly, I didn’t notice but you are quite of a delicious meal. Should I savour it, Lee Miyeon?" Jeohan said. He leaned in and whispered, "Sun-hi was ooff..."

Hearing Sun-hi's name from his mouth, she gathered all her might and pushed him off her. She immediately grabbed the glass and smashed on his head. She started beating the shit out of him, mercilessly. There was no mercy at all.

She started breathing heavily. "Wae? Wae her? We had problems. I was your enemy. Sun-hi was innocent. She even didn’t know you. Why? Huh? Why? Why did you do this to her?" she kept hurting him while crying. All she could think were Sun-hi's bloody dead body and her child. Her hands were aching and swollen. She didn’t care.

Jeohan lost his consciousness but she still kept beating him. She was sobbing. "Wae? Wae her? Sun-hi..... Sun-hi...."

Madame Shin, Yoongi and Yunhee rushed to hospital. Madame Shin called the bodyguards she appointed for Moon before getting on plane but no one picked up. She felt weird so she decided to stay back and told others to leave. But Yunhee and Yoongi weren’t ready to leave either. Not the other girls too. But because of Madame Shin, the girls returned with their bodyguards. But Yoongi stayed and so that Yunhee stayed too.

Reaching the hospital and in front of  Moon's room, they saw the guards unconscious which made the three scared. They heard a crackling voice with cry coming from inside.

"Waeee? Wae Sun-hi? You bloody bastard."

Madame Shin burst into the room following by Yunhee and Yoongi. They saw a man lying on floor injured and Moon crying beside him and hitting him with her all might sitting on floor. Yunhee approached her and pulled away from him. Madame Shin went to wake the bodyguards up and call the police.

"Eonnie...." Yunhee called in a low tone.

"Take him away before I kill him, please." Moon replied.

Time skips,

The police took him away. Before taking him away, Moon gave her statement and told them whatever happened in the past, two days ago and that night.

Moon was discharged too. But while leaving from the hospital, they noticed the paparazzi outside. Madame Shin turned towards Yoongi. "I distract them till then you take both of them to the hotel and drive to hotel for the night. We will return tomorrow. I don’t think today we can return. Try not to reveal your identity. You know it will cause more rumours." Yoongi nod.

Madame Shin went between the paparazzi. Meanwhile, the bodyguards safely led them to the car from the back exit. The ride was silent. No one was talking. Moon smiled. To which, the Min siblings got shocked.

"Enlighten us. What's so funny?" Yoongi said. Moon looked at him once but then turned her head away as she remembered his behaviour in hospital room.

Yunhee was secretly enjoying the unconfessed love-birds silent fight despite all that happened. Yoongi scoffed at her behaviour. His care was genuine for both of the girls but it just Moon didn’t know and didn’t realise.

"I feel Sun-hi got justice today only." Moon didn’t want to say but said it anyways. Yoongi and Yunhee looked at her from the corner of their eyes. "Even though he said it was my fault which Sun-hi repaid and I always blamed myself too. But today, I didn’t blame myself."

"Why was he behind you?" Yunhee asked.

"He hated me. Correction, hates me. I am no different. I hate him too. Some boys just can't accept rejection and their ego to be hurt. He is one of them. I knew it was not someone who hates Moon. It was someone who hates Miyeon. Someone who knew Miyeon well and her fears. Cause if it was my idol self haters, they wouldn’t know cold and darkness were my fears. Only one person hated me that much and it was him, Jeohan. He hated me that much that he used an innocent soul to get even with me." Moon replied.

"I knew he will come to the hospital too that's why I told Madame Shin to leave taking you guys. I was ready to make him taste his own medicine. I was waiting for him only. I was ready to meet him and confront him."

"But wasn’t that Max?" Yoongi asked abruptly but realised how big of mistake he did as he felt Yunhee's glare on him.

"How do you know?" Moon asked raising eyebrows.

"When Yunhee was talking to you, I was there. So I listened. Mianhae." Yoongi covered up.

Moon remembered the day when she felt that she heard his voice but Yunhee lied. She let out a chuckle, a bitter one. They were together but Yunhee lied to her then.

"His English name is Max." Moon said with a nod.

Time skips,

They checked in hotel and went to their respective rooms. Yunhee and Moon were in one room and Yoongi was in another room. Yunhee was deep asleep while Moon watched her in dim light. She perhaps should jist accept the truth and live her life. If love was there in her destine, it would come anyways. But probably love just wasn’t meant for her. She let her eyes to be closed.
