Abandon

Tom: Sorry.... I swear I didn't mean too-

Tom helped Jake into his lap. Jake held onto Tom a bit tighter now that he was back in his lap. The contact calmed him down slightly, but he was still upset from Tom leaving him alone for so long

Jake: You better mean that... you had me worried and I didn't know if you were coming back at all....
Tom: why wouldn't I come back...? I love you.
Jake: B- because you left me for so long and didn't come back.... I didn't know if you had just left me alone or....

His voice broke off for a second, but he continued on in a quieter tone

Jake: ...or if you had abandoned me again..
Tom: I'm so fuckin sorry, Jake... I swear I didn't mean too-!

Jake didn't speak for a moment, trying to keep his emotions in check. He was still upset, upset that Tom had purposely left him for a long time just to mess with him, upset that Tom knew that he got abandoned in the past and still teased him like that.

Jake: Y- yeah... you'd better be sorry.... You know I still have trauma from being abandoned, and you still left me alone for hours just to mess with me........
Tom: Jake... I never meant to! H-How can I make it up to you-?
Jake: I- I don't know... I'm still mad at you for leaving me for so long on purpose....
Tom: Please forgive me somehow... I'll do anything!"

Tom reached out and held Jake's hand. Jake was quiet for a moment, thinking about how Tom could make it up to him. He still felt betrayed that Tom had purposefully left him alone for so long, knowing he hated being alone.

Jake: Anything?....
Tom: yes, Jake... Anything, I want to make it up to you...
Jake:Anything?.... even if you have to suffer the way that I did?....
Tom: I-... Sure... Only Because I love you..
Jake was shocked when Tom immediately agreed to accept whatever punishment he had in mind. There was a small pang of guilt that went through him at the thought, as he hated the idea of Tom suffering, but he was still mad at him at the same time.

Jake: Okay... you're going to have to stay in the cabin.. alone.. for the rest of the night....
