Reconnection- Jake x Tom

Outside

Jake pouted as the door was shut and he was locked out. He sat on the bed not happy that he wasn’t allowed to cling to his lover during his bathroom break. Jake laid down and sulked until he heard the bathroom door open. He perked up and sat up quickly. He was still pouting but was expecting to be able to cling to Tom again. Tom walked out, he looked at Jake. Jake looked at him and held his arms out in a “come here” gesture. Wanting to see if he would be allowed to cling this time. Tom shook his head, he grabbed his jacket and put it on. Jake looked confused. He put his arms down and sat on the bed. He was saddened and frustrated that he was being denied attention, again.

Jake: Where are you going??
Tom: I'm just going for a walk, why?
Jake: Can I come with you?

He looked at him and begged silently for him to say yes.

Tom: yeah...
Jake: Yay! I’m coming with you!

Jake was suddenly all grins and happiness. He quickly got up and ran over to Tom. He clung to his arm once more. Tom rolled his eyes and sighed, he started walking outside. Jake was smiling now that he was allowed to follow. He stayed closely next to Tom almost like a lost puppy not wanting to leave his side. He leaned on his arm and looked up at him while they walked.

{As they walked outside, the air was cold.}

Jake snuggled closely to Tom. Even though it was cold outside, the warmth he was getting from being pressed up against him was enough to keep him warm. He took in a deep breath and sighed happily. Enjoying being able to be near his man again. Tom looked down at Jake, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around Jake. Jake looked at Tom in shock. He wasn’t expecting him to give his jacket to him. It was way too big for him and swamped him.

Jake: Tom, you’re gonna be cold…
Tom: I'll be fine...

Jake huffed and pouted once again. He didn’t want Tom to get cold because of him. He looked up at him again and gave him puppy dog eyes once again, Silently pleading for him to take his jacket back. Tom's sighed, but he didn't give in. He shook his head. Jake huffed and pouted even more. He held the jacket tighter around him and looked down at the ground. He was frustrated again that Tom wasn’t giving him attention, he was also frustrated that he wouldn’t take his jacket back. Jake mumbled a little and continued to walk with him. Tom looked down at Jake.

Tom: is something wrong?

Jake huffed louder and looked away. He just shook his head and stubbornly kept walking. He didn’t want to admit that he was upset because that would just make him seem like a bratty child throwing a tantrum. Tom stopped walking, he leaned down to look at Jake.

Tom: Tell. Me what's wrong.

Jake sighed and huffed while looking at him. He knew he couldn’t get out of telling him now so he spoke quietly after an awkward silence

Jake: I’m mad because you won’t give me attention... And also because YOU won’t take your jacket back. You're gonna get cold…
Tom: first of all, I won't get cold. And... If you want my attention just ask..
Jake: It’s not that simple…
Tom: and why is that-?

Jake looked at Tom and frowned again. He crossed his arms which pulled the oversized jacket tighter around him.

Jake: You’re supposed to just know when I want attention. You’re supposed to love me enough to spoil me with attention without me having to ask…
Tom: so you want to be like that? Fine.

Tom wrapped his arms around Jake's shoulder. He kissed Jake's forehead and face all over. Jake immediately lost his grumpy demeanor and was now a flustered mess. A small squeak came out of him as Tom suddenly started showing so much affection. His face was red and he quickly covered it with the collar of the oversized jacket.
