Reconnection- Jake x Tom

Deep end

Tom: Yeah it is!

Tom kept laughing, he grabbed Jake's hand and started pulling him into the deep end of the water. Jake's heart started racing as he was pulled by his fiancé towards the deeper water. He let out a small panicked noise and started pushing against Tom, attempting to keep from being pulled in further.

Jake: W- wait- that's- the deep end!
Tom: Yeah! What about it?

Tom chuckled, he wrapped his arms around Jake's waist and kept trying to pull him into the deep end. Jake let out another small noise of shock and panic as his fiancé's arms wrapped around his waist again, pulling him deeper in spite of his resistance.

Jake: S- st- stop-!!

Tom paused, he kept holding onto Jake's waist as he leaned in closer. Tom looked down at him as he slowly stopped moving into the deep end.

Tom: what's wrong, Jake!?

Jake was still gripping to Tom while being held. He let out a few shaky breaths before hesitantly speaking.

Jake: I- I don't wanna- go in the deep end.. I can barely swim.. I'll drown..

Tom sighed, he buried his face into the crook of Jake's neck.

Tom: Jake... You have me, I'm your strong dumbass fiance.. you'll be fine! But if you really don't wanna go then you can stay in the shallow...

Jake relaxed a bit as Tom's face was buried in his neck. He still felt anxious and uncertain, but the contact was slowly helping him calm down.

Jake: I- I know you'll protect me and everything.. but.. being that deep while barely being able to even swim is kinda scary.. I think I'd like to just stay in the shallow, sorry...
Tom: it's fine, do you wanna do something cool, though?

Tom smirked, he held Jake's hands. Jake wasn't sure what Tom had in mind, but he tilted his head curiously and nodded.

Jake: Sure, what did you have in mind..?

Tom smirked, he took a deep breath and wrapped his arms around Jake's waist as he pulled him and jake down under water. Jake barely had time to process what was happening before suddenly being pulled underwater. He reflexively held his breath and clutched onto Tom's arms. Once he was underwater, his anxiety spiked as he instinctively tried to swim back up to the surface. Tom saw Jake slightly struggling to swim to the surface and sighed, he pulled him back up to the surface. Jake gasped for air as his head broke through the water's surface, he clung to Tom tightly and started catching his breath, speaking with a slightly annoyed tone

Jake: W- why'd you pull me under if you were just going to bring me back up!!?
Tom: Uhm- Probably because, you started panicking! I was trying to show you what it looked like underwater!

Tom sighed, he looked down at Jake. Jake let out a small sigh in return and loosened his grip a bit in Tom. He pouted a bit and mumbled.

Jake: .. I was panicking because all the sudden you pulled me under and I wasn't prepared..
Tom: Do you wanna just go back to the cabin..?

Tom nuzzled his face into Jake's neck and sighed, he gently kissed Jake's neck. Jake felt a small chill run down his spine as Tom kissed his neck.

Jake: Maybe, it's kinda getting dark anyways..

Tom chuckled and nodded, he got out of the water and grabbed his towel, he started drying himself off.

Tom: alright..

Jake watched and blushed as his fiancé dried himself off, he still couldn't get over how amazing he looked. But he quickly shook his head to try and get over it and also got out of the water, grabbing his own towel and starting to dry off as well. Tom wrapped his arms around Jake's waist and gently started kissing his neck.

Tom: you're cold~
Jake: Yeahh I might be a bit cold from being in the water for so long..
Tom: I'll warm you up once we get to the cabin... How does that sound~?

Tom smirked, he grabbed his towel and held Jake's hand. A shiver went down Jake's spine from his fiancé's words, he already felt himself starting to warm up.

Jake; That sounds great..~

Tom Chuckled, he started walking towards the cabin as he held Jake's hand tightly. Jake walked alongside Tom, their fingers intertwined. He was still blushing from his fiancé's comment, but he smiled as they walked. The closer they got to the cabin, the more Jake found himself wanting to go inside and be alone with Tom.
