Reconnection- Jake x Tom

Upset

Tom: w-without you-? Where are you going to be...?
Jake: I’ll be on the porch…. I don’t want you near me right now…..

His tone was still upset and slightly angry. Even though he loved Tom, and thought he was a great boyfriend, he was still upset at the fact that Tom had willingly left him for hours on purpose just to mess with him.

Tom: Fine... I'll see you in the morning...

Tom reluctantly stood up, he let go of Jake and walked into the cabin. Jake watched as Tom walked into the cabin. He was still upset with Tom, and didn’t want to talk to him until tomorrow. He crossed his arm and looked in the opposite direction of the cabin

Jake: See you in the morning…. I still don’t want to talk to you though….

Tom walked into the cabin, then he walked outside holding a blanket and one of his sweaters. He walked next to Jake and handed them to him.

Tom: I know that you don't want to talk to me, but Take these... In case you get cold...

Jake was surprised when Tom came back outside and tried handing him a blanket and sweater.

Jake: What are you doing?... I said I don’t want to talk to you….

His tone was still upset. Even though Tom was giving him the blanket and sweater, he was still mad at him, and didn’t want his pity.

Tom: fine... Be like that, I'm just worried that you'll be cold...

Tom sighed, he put the blanket and sweater down next to Jake before walking back into the cabin. Even though Jake was still mad at Tom, and didn’t want to talk to him, his comment about being worried if he would be cold made him slightly less upset. He looked down at the blanket and sweater that Tom had given him, then looked off towards the cabin door. After a couple minutes of contemplating, Jake grabbed the blanket and pulled it over him. Tom ran a hand through his hair, he knew that Jake was serious about this punishment but he was still really worried about him. He walked outside and gave Jake a note before walking inside again. When Tom walked out, Jake  spoke in an slightly upset tone

Jake: I said I didn’t want to-

He was immediately interrupted by Tom handing him a note and then walking back inside. Curious as to what the note was, he unfolded it and read the contents

{The Note said: I know you're still upset with me... But, if you get too cold or anything... We can switch Places, You can stay in the cabin and I'll be on the porch-Tom.}

Jake was still mad at Tom, but the note was soothing, and the thought that Tom wanted to switch if he got too cold made him happy that Tom cared at least a little bit for him. He let out a loud sigh, still debating on if he should let Tom come back out or not. He finally made up his mind and called out towards the cabin.

Jake: Tom, can you come back out for a second?..

When Tom heard Jake's voice calling out for him, he immediately ran outside towards Jake.

Tom: Hey...
Jake: Hey. I’ve decided that you can at least sit on the porch with me, although I still don’t want to talk to you right now…. Plus, I’m going to keep this blanket, I don’t want to give it back for the rest of the night…
