Reconnection- Jake x Tom

Tom chuckled, he laid gently kissed Jake's forehead again and looked up at him.

Tom: Do you wanna go swim at the river?
Jake: Yeah, sounds good! I’d definitely like to spend some time with my fiancé~

Jake said affectionately while still holding up the rabbit plush and lightly swaying it back and forth at Tom. Tom chuckled, he put Jake down and playfully ruffled his hair.

Tom: alrighty then! Get your swimsuit then!

Jake felt a small bit of disappointment when he was put down, but he still smiled and fixed his hair that was messed up from Tom ruffling it.

Jake: You’re so impatient, you want me changed and ready that quick?

Tom put his hands on his hips and nodded.

Tom: I just wanna spend some time with my fiancé~ is that so bad~?

Tom chuckled, he turned around and changed into teal shorts and a white tank top. Jake chuckled and shook his head, still holding the rabbit plush against his chest. He sat the plush down on the bed and quickly changed into a light blue t-shirt and maroon shorts before speaking.

Jake: Fine fine~ I’m changed now~

Tom smiled, he grabbed a towel and gently tapped Jake's shoulder.

Tom: Race you!

Tom Chuckled as he started running outside and towards the river. Jake rolled his eyes and laughed as Tom started running towards the river.

Jake: Hey, no fair! You started before I was ready!

Jake called as he grabbed another towel and started running out the door after Tom, quickly trying to catch up while laughing. Tom started running faster as he saw the river, he chuckled as he waited for Jake to catch up. Jake let out a small groan when he saw Tom running even faster, but quickly tried to speed up anyways to try and catch up to him. When Jake saw Tom had stopped at the river, he slowed to a stop as well.

Jake: That- .. that’s- cheating.. you- you had a head start-

Tom: aww... What you mad? You're so out of breath!

Tom chuckled, he leaned down and kissed Jake before pulling away. Jake was still very winded and slightly out of breath, and Tom’s smug smirk as well as the kiss didn’t help the situation.

Jake: Sh- shut up. I would’ve- had you if- you didn’t get a head start..
Tom: mhm... Yeah totally Jake... Come get in the water with me!

Tom chuckled, he took off his tank top and got into the water. Jake’s face flushed bright red once again as he watched Tom take off his shirt and get into the water.

Jake: Yeah yeah, whatever.. I totally would’ve won..

Jake mumbled before quickly taking off his own shirt and getting into the water, wading in about to his knees with Tom. Tom smirked, he wrapped his arms behind Jake and fell down laying in the water with Jake on top of him.

Tom: Hey~
Jake: hey yourself~

Tom smiled, he enjoyed their little moments like this a lot.

Tom: You're adorable y'know that?

Jake’s face immediately went red once again from being called adorable.

Jake: mhm... no I'm not.. you're making me blush!!
Tom: Heck yeah you are~

Tom Chuckled, he leaned in and kissed Jake. Jake smiled warmly into the kiss, but then got a mischievous smirk on his face as he suddenly had an idea. Once Tom had drawn away from the kiss, Jake splashed some water at him. Tom dramatically gasped, he looked up at Jake and smirked. Tom immediately rolled over in the water and slightly pulled Jake into the water holding him down in the water.

Tom: you little minx~

Jake squealed and blushed as Tom rolled over and pulled him under the water. He squirmed around for a moment while he was being held down before he finally was brought back up, spluttering out water while attempting to speak.

Jake: Y- you-!

Jake managed to get out, pausing to regain his breath and spit out water that had splashed into his mouth. Finally he managed to stammer out another word between gasps.

Jake: Cheater!

Tom started laughing as Jake called him a "cheater" he playfully hit Jake's chest and looked down at him.

Tom: God! That's hilarious...

Jake pouted and crossed his arms as his laughing fiancé hit his chest. He huffed a bit and looked back up at him while still pouting.

Jake: It is not funny! I’m being serious!
