{Time skip- 3 weeks later- The day of the wedding}
There was an hour until the wedding, Tom and Jake had both decided to wear white suits and invite their close friends. They would be having their wedding on the beach at sunset....
Jake was nervous to say the least. He was pacing back and forth in his and Tom’s room, waiting for it to be time for the wedding. He was fidgeting with everything at the moment, constantly playing with the cuffs of his sleeves and straightening his tie. Ashley Walk into Tom and Jake's room. She looked at Jake and smiled. She walked over to Jake and put a hand on his shoulder.Ashley: nervous?
Jake: You could say that.. I honestly don’t know if I’ll make it through this wedding without passing out or something..
Ashley: heh... You look great! And everything will be amazing! Now let's go set walk you down the aisle!Ashley smiled, she held Jake's hand and walked him outside. Jake tried to take a deep breath to calm himself as he stepped outside and was led by Ashley to the space on the beach where the wedding was being held. He tried to block out the fact that the guests were all looking at him and focused his eyes on Tom. Tom was standing at the altar, waiting for Jake. The music started, signaling that it was time for Jake to walk down the aisle. Jake felt like this moment was happening in slow motion. He heard the music signal that it was time, and felt that this was his cue to start walking. He began slowly walking down the aisle, eyes still fixed on Tom. As Jake arrived at the altar, Tom smiled and held Jake's hand. He couldn't stop thinking about how pretty Jake looked, he stared at him in awe. Jake couldn’t stop staring at Tom as they stood at the altar together. He was blushing at the way Tom was looking at him, and suddenly felt like he was going to start crying. He smiled and squeezed Tom’s hand, barely registering the voice of the officiant beginning to speak. The Officiant stood in-between Jake and Tom.
Officiant: Dear friends and family, We are gathered here today to witness the gathering of Thomas Reed and Jake Hamilton
Jake slowly zoned out for a moment as the officiant began speaking. He squeezed Tom’s hand again as he realized that this was it. It was really happening. The Officiant talked about More before it was time for Jake and Tom to read their Vows.
Officiant: You may now read your vows.
Jake was snapped out of his daze by the officiant again, he nervously tried to slow his breathing as he began to speak.
Jake: Tom.. when I first met you all those months ago, I never thought that we would even be here now. But here we are, standing here in front of our friends with vows to read and rings to exchange. You’ve helped me through so much, you’ve helped me learn to love myself, and you’ve given me so many reasons to keep going..
Tom: Jake, You're the love of my life... I promise to love you unconditionally through thick thin, and through health and illness... To tell you I love every single day, for the rest of our lives... I will always put you first and give you my absolute best for the rest of my days...Tom smiled, he held Jake's hand as he spoke. Jake was trying hard not to cry when Tom started to speak, but he was feeling all his emotions crashing at once and a few tears slipped down his cheeks as he listened to Tom’s vows. The Officiant looked at the two of them.
Officiant: I now pronounce you officially married, You may now kiss.
Jake was barely registering what the officiant was saying at this point until he heard those last words. He immediately got closer to Tom and wrapped his arms around his neck, practically jumping into his arms and bringing him into a passionate kiss. Tom wrapped his arms around Jake's waist and pulling him closer as they continued to kiss passionately.
