"Good morning, class!" Estelle exclaimed from the front of the classroom, surrounded by countless musical instruments as she turned to write on the whiteboard. "Welcome to music. I'm your music teacher for today, since Professor Loup has fallen ill. My name is Miss Jiang, but you can call me Miss J, if that's easier." She knew how much people struggled with her last name. It was always difficult for people to pronounce, even though she thought it was easy.

"Good morning, Miss J," The teenagers in the class chorused boredly, except for one clearly eager student in the front of the class, who grinned when he saw what Estelle was writing on the board

Great, Estelle thought to herself as she picked up a black whiteboard marker and wrote down the date, a room full of moody teenagers. To be fair, though, it hadn't been that long since she was in their place.

"Your teacher has set a lesson plan for you today," Estelle said as she wrote the instructions up on the board, "he said you're all to be writing your own music for the showcase at the end of this year. Do you all know what he means?" The students nodded, and Estelle sent them all off to do their own work.

The Doctor had brought her and Rose to a school in London, 2007, that Rose's half-friendzoned-boyfriend Mickey had discovered to be the centrepoint of suspicious activity. Apparently there were bat-like creatures haunting the school at night. In the past, Estelle would've scoffed at the thought, but if vampires and werewolves were real, why wouldn't flying bat monsters be too?

"Miss J?"

Estelle looked up to see that energetic boy in the front row had his hand up.

"Yes?"

"I'm just-"

"Oh, shut it, Harvey!" The boy next to him muttered, and the rest of the class murmured in agreement.

The boy, Harvey, ignored the class's clear resentment of him and continued talking to Estelle. "I'm just so excited for science next period, Miss J!"

"Oh, really?" Estelle raised an eyebrow, wondering why on earth the boy was telling her this. "What are you doing in science?"

"Biology, Miss," Harvey replied, "Parts of the human body."

"Oh really?"

"And we have a test next period, Miss," Harvey added.

"Are you... excited for your test?" Although Estelle had been an absolute academic weapon in her school life, she was never happy to do tests. It was just one of those things that everyone hated.

"Oh, yes! I'm going to ace this test, Miss!" Harvey said confidently.

"Really?" Estelle smirked, not having anything better to do but to play along with Harvey. "Tell me, then. What is homeostasis?"

"It's the process in which the body maintains its internal environment, Miss!" Harvey answered eagerly. Estelle frowned, slightly. That type of Science was normally studied in Tenth Grade, but this boy was in Seventh Grade.

"Correct," Estelle replied, "Harvey, which part of the body is not involved in a reflex arc?"

"The brain!" Harvey answered easily.

Estelle decided on a harder question, one which she had recently had been tested on in advanced Med-School. "Name the bones of the foot."

"The foot itself can be divided into 3 parts: the hindfoot, the midfoot, and the forefoot," Harvey answered automatically as he began to list off the answers. "The hindfoot is composed of 2 of the 7 tarsal bones, the talus, and the calcaneus; the midfoot contains the rest of the tarsal bones; and the forefoot contains the metatarsals and the phalanges."
